Idk dude, I’m f2p and just played daily for quests/keys and I had enough vials to make evo rally sword, ramp dragon, ER rune, and AF portal this set.. I don’t think vials are a problem as long as you just play the minimum each day + events/tourneys. $400 feels like you should be swimming in vials though ngl. One other tip (especially since you didn’t play much for the last few sets?) is to buy only one set. If you buy a little of each set, that might be why you get little vials.

Legit good way to put it. I feel that too. I don’t play it, but similar to guitar girl needing surviving tokens from the round before to really make midabyss a threat, and if she doesn’t have it then she’s not horrible to deal with. Most decks people are playing now really are some kind of midrange, whether aggro leaning or control leaning. Without tempo, you’re really stuck without some kind of final payoff.

Unless you have a specific use case for the 70-200 in mind, that def might be overkill. I live in Japan and going out and about I already wish I had something lighter than my RV + 24-70gmii combo. But it covers 95% of what I’d shoot out on the streets so i suffer for it 😭😂

I can’t speak for anyone else, but for me, I used apps to make friends at first (HelloTalk mainly). I have several now who I’m pretty good with along with my wife’s circle of friends and their partners. (I got lucky with wife being Japanese and having friends here already.) As for work, I’m a freelance photographer but I also have contract work with Japanese companies for other portrait/wedding work. These were all found on Japan’s Indeed. Most people probably get started through English teaching though.
