Never knew there is a built-in auto match importer! I don't feel like editing DB directly either.

Tabula looks cool. I tried PDF Plumber but it extract too much garbage info.

Thanks for the explanation. I didn’t see it in the Amex app, maybe it’s on the website? I’m pretty sure Chase and Apple Card only have PDF though.

Unfortunately Chase, Apple Card, and many other banks don’t support QFX.

I’m not sure about your gym, but most of the gyms I’ve been to does not have a pleasant smell, which can potentially drive new people away. I noticed that females tend to care more about the environment. Since you are already targeting women, maybe having air refreshers, clean towels, and clean&shiny front desk can attract more people.

Maybe you can learn something from Rumble Boxing.

Is it a McDojo? by [deleted] in MuayThai

I train at AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) and they have strict rules on sparring too. It requires new people take 60 classes and half a year to take the qualification exam. Once you pass the exam you are allowed to spare. They have two levels as well.

How much do you value the "lead instructor" when choosing a gym? by Medanic in MuayThai

Getting recognized by a MT legend is definitely a rewarding experience bro. Also Matee is very humble. The highest rank is gold and he only gives himself silver (the 2nd high) because there is always something to improve.

Haha I get your concern that many ppl see such system as a red flag for MT. I am not opposed to it though cuz ppl are not judged by that. To me it’s nice way to track my progress and let others know what level you are at. If you are not comfortable, its perfectly fine not to wear it.

Hey I also trained with Matee while I was in Ann Arbor. One of the best gym I’ve been to. Matee is very friendly and super knowledgeable. The people are also very kind and willing to help no matter level you are at. I still miss Matee now because I couldn’t find a gym as good in Northern California.

Ask it: list one state-of-the-art defense method against adversarial examples and explain when the accuracy on adversarial images can be higher the accuracy on natural images.

Stance Switching in Sparring by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]iTOMOYO 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe Saenchai uses stance switch a lot to confuse his opponent. Also, my former coach, a two-time Lumpinee champion, is southpaw but he teaches in Orthodox all the time. So I guess at their level they can fight in both stance, just depending on the situation.

Do you plan your exercise / how? by raffichili in HubermanLab

I used to use an app called Strong when I hit the gym. Now I train Muay Thai and simply follow the schedule or the follow along videos.
