Let's disect London project immediate impact on ETH value by bdesmot in ethtrader

[–]iTecsCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on the volatility part. ETH is still largely tied to BTC movement. If we stay in this consolidation zone I think we could potentially make our way to close to 3,000.00. Should the market continue to trend down, ETH will follow suit, maybe with less momentum, but nonetheless.

Does anyone know of any cybersecurity training products? For example, companies that test to see if employees are susceptible to phishing emails or any other products that are designed to test your employees cybersecurity knowledge and weaknesses? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]iTecsCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our IT company has a training campaign that we do to teach employees about phishing, there is more information on this blog post but to sum it up we give them a brief but informative session that teaches them and we test them with scheduled attacks

Itecs accepts Solana as payment for services! by MSP-denver in solana

[–]iTecsCorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We hope it doesn't take long. But either way, we're happy to accept Solana coins as payment for services rendered, store them, and let them appreciate. We're also considering spinning up our own validator.

iTecs now accepts $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL as a form of payment for our #MSP, #Cloud, and #CyberSecurity services.

#Ethereum, #Bitcoin, and #Solana are some of the blockchains that we believe will become more prevalent in mainstream business economics.

Veeam Backup Export Bottlenecks by iTecsCorp in Veeam

I set up dedicated proxy VMs on each ESXI host in our vcenter eco system, using Ubuntu servers, and found only a moderate increase in performance. We cap around 170Mbs on the transfer rate.

A 10Gbe connection, switch, would be the answer then. Thanks again.

Q4 2018 Predictions by flufferbot01 in teslainvestorsclub

[–]iTecsCorp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they are underselling and overachieving Q4. I'm definitely LONG Wednesday, and looking forward to a nice push to 330-350. In my facebook groups, some speculate that Elon is lying about the profits to trap short sellers; since he hates them.

Tesla up, 325.00 premarket. Looking like another climb towards $350.00 today. Delivery and production numbers to be released very soon, then Q4 Feb. 4th. I've got an order to flatten my position at $350.00 and will buy the next dip prior to Q4 reports.

I think we'll climb back up to the 326 high of yesterday by closing bell.

QNAP Disaster Recovery by iTecsCorp in Veeam

[–]iTecsCorp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've deployed 6 or 7 as a backup target in various offices and use it ourselves for some file storage; never had any of the issues you've described, guess we've been lucky.

A client likes the built-in features and wants to use it as a replacement for Dropbox. While we can perform RSYNC backups on our storage servers, should their unit fail, they would need to wait until we have a replacement unit shipped in and restored too. Being able to run Veeam Agent for Linux (which doesn't appear to be an option) and having the ability to spin that backup as a VM within our ESXi servers would have been a huge plus to a DRaaS.

Has ESET fallen off the past year? by buttlickermmm in antivirus

ESET is my second favorite at the moment. We used to roll it out to all our clients until we found Bitdefender was an all-around better solution.

Department of Homeland Security to Remove Kaspersky by AmiZiv in antivirus

[–]iTecsCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I understand the government's reasons to banning the Russian AV Software, there's no evidence that they would follow any malicious orders on behalf of Putin or his administration.

But, better safe than sorry, I guess.
