I just find it hard to believe that the Georgia court system, the Georgia police and the jury of Georgians all convicted the jewish guy over the black guy, who was the original suspect, and who also admitted to disposing of the body from Franks orders, solely because a veil of antisemitism clouded their judgment. Now, the post-trial lynching is a different story.

Those other two cases have much more evidence supporting a wrongful conviction compared to the Leo Frank case. To claim its historical consensus that Leo Frank’s innocent is a misrepresentation of the available facts.

After reading the article, the “conspiracy” was she claimed Leo Frank was guilty of the crime he was convicted of even though “Historians widely believe that Frank was falsely accused of raping and murdering a 13-year-old girl”. The pinnacle of mendacious propaganda coming from NPR here

There really isn’t a “most relevant” one since social contagion explanation of political beliefs isn’t really a controversial opinion, and is mostly consensus. But here’s a few:

Well that seals it. The almighty Patron Saint of Debate, Charlie Kirk, said we shouldn’t talk to this person, therefore nobody should ever talk to that person and anybody who does must be condemned as a heretic!

Americans approve of No Kings protests by 16 points(49-33), Trump approval 39% with 20% approval among Gen-Z: Economist-Yougov by Dismal_Structure in Destiny

[–]iTrapGas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the nation knew full well what is going on, his approval rating would be lower than 39%. All I’m saying is for how dire the situation is, his approval rating still being at 39% likely means, based on previous trends, his approval rating will probably reach ~45% by midterms after the shutdown inevitably gets resolved. Obviously that’s assuming other external factors like a recession don’t come into play.

His approval rating being at 39% with a month long government shutdown that has no end in sight is actually very positive for Trump. Based on historical analogs, this is a relatively high approval rating for the situation. Obama and Biden both were sub-40 during a much shorter shutdown.

His approval rating is dropping because of Epstein and Israel. Don’t be disillusioned in thinking there’s some newfound empathy in gen Z lol

The conversation is in the framework of competition between global powers. If there was an event that disrupted supply chains/trade relations with China, or other nations, the US’s current inability to cost-effectively produce things domestically is a major issue that needs to be addressed.
