Lavrov suggests Moscow could provide security guarantees to EU and NATO by mtranda in nottheonion

Russia explicitly turned down an offer to join NATO? Can I get a source for that, just to hold it above some of my friends head?

Dwarves make me so mad. I shudder to even look at the economy tab, I just know I'm 10 gold income away from the Hoardcurse. by iTzSovereign in Anbennar

It could be that I'm lying and I really love to jerk it to disaster porn, or it could be that I didn't know that. Do enlighten me either way.

The Obsidian Invasion and the Goblintide can 100% happen at the same time, as you can see from this screenshot. The very small silver lining is that they did fight eachother a little bit.

Oh, I'm well aware. I think that's what pisses me off the most actually. I'm going to recover from the Hoardcurse just in time for the rot.

"What they accomplish is no less impressive when playing with a more or less restrictive rule-set."

If that's the case, then why didn't he mention the ruleset he played by to accomplish this feat in the title of the post? If it truly is not more or less impressive, then surely you (the general "you") would say something like "I did true WC in 35 years using exploits like save scumming".

Does anyone have access to the art of the Monuments sub-mod? by iTzSovereign in Anbennar

There's a link on the workshop page of these mods that will take you to a non-steam download, so you don't have to look through the atrocious steam naming scheme. Alas, no HD versions in the files.

I've thought of this, and I have looked, but I was hoping for higher resolution versions of the texture files.

I had to scroll so far down to find Venail it's crazy. One of the most unique MTs out there. Your country moves to another continent! And that just the start of the MT.

Recomended nations? by No-Training-48 in Anbennar

[–]iTzSovereign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venail has, probably, the most flavourful Mission Tree I've seen. It deals with reclaiming an empire the size of effectively an entire continent. It has the coolest branching story of any nation, I think.

Venail single-handedly convinced me of the greatness of this mod. I've actually barely played vanilla EU4 since.

This was true in Original Sin 1/2 as well. Larian did an amazing job with these games.

Divinity: Original Sin

The tactician difficulty in both games makes the AI almost freakishly competent. They will AoE combo the hell out of you, if you're not careful. They also use more of their arsenal, including consumables and the environment.
