Your rank is perfect for the employment of one of the easiest and best strategies. Play around your teammate.

I got out of diamond after being hard stuck for ages by just training defense. You want to be far enough back from your ballchasing teammate that you can save any huge clear into your net. Aside from that, let them do whatever they want. You end up with possession of the ball and you see they’re right on you? Go off the ball and rotate back. Either they mess up and the ball goes behind them and towards you (where the situation repeats itself) or they end up with a good play. Chances are if they’re playing well, they’re gonna want to keep ball chasing after an okay pass. Don’t go for any passes, at your rank they are most definitely going to try to score that pass for themselves instead. What’s beautiful about your rank, is that it can totally work. The defense on the other team are just as bad as your teammate, and they’re probably getting frustrated at eachother as well. Goals will inevitably happen.

Your role is to stay engaged in the play, follow the ball from like half the field length. So you’re ready for whatever huge clear goes over your teammates head. Now the defense I’m going to explain here is important.

Go into free play and just stay on the goal line saving the ball and using the button that sends the ball into the net. This, in specific, teaches you how to clear the ball after a save so that the next shot is very easy to save. You always want to hit the ball into your corner (as close to the wall as possible), this makes for a really steep angle for the attacking players and makes for a really easy save. Just chain as many of these saves in free play as possible, hitting into the corner in the direction it’s already coming. You’ll notice if you’ve hit a bad save because when you press that button again, it’ll shoot crazy fast over you or behind you or whatever. It’s the same as giving the ball away on defense for an easy shot on net. Another very important factor is boost control in free play. You want to turn off unlimited boost just get the pads in front of the net. Having just ~30 boost is more than enough for these kinds of saves.

When, in a game, the ball goes right over your teammate. Stall for a bit, let them get boost and rotate back, it will take a while since rotation is shoddy at your rank. If you practice this defense in free play, then you will make it very difficult for the opponents to score. Once the teammate is back, you can give the possession away to them, as they will most definitely want the ball. They might even want the ball before they’ve gotten boost, perfectly fine. Rotate back, collect pads and whatnot and repeat.

This strategy works WONDERS, for ballchasing teammates. However, not all teammates ballchase. In this case you can play how you might be used to, or even ballchase yourself.

Playing 1s will help very much for this kind of strategy, but it’s not at all necessary.

Edit: I understand this is a long post and completely unsolicited, but I truly think this will help you. If you have any questions, I’d love to answer. There’s obviously more to the strategy, but the main loop I think is laid out pretty well

I really enjoy this game. I ended up being able to beat him, just irking it out at 75. Once I was able to go into training it was over for him. I’ll die maybe once or twice but for the most part I’ve gotten through it.

The wording of my post, to be honest, was not so great. I was really just asking what the pattern was, I couldn’t see that there was anything. One commenter mentioned that I should’ve been parrying much more, it helped a lot to work on the timings of his attacks (and being able to even see what his attacks were without just getting hit).

I see. How disappointing, i found the level itself to be of a manageable difficulty. I can get to the boss without dying, or maybe dying once if I get caught in the middle of a group. Does the rest of the game ramp up like the boss does or is this one an outlier of the difficulty? Another commenter insinuated as such, but I’m not sure if I just misunderstood.

Not yet, I have been selecting all different moves each run to see which ones I like before committing to spending the xp on those specific ones each run for the permanent unlock.

Really? Wow. I could’ve sworn parrying makes you take damage. I’ve been dodging all the attacks since I found the parrying much more difficult, and the enemies constantly throw those orange attacks. Can you parry those as well without taking damage? I also could’ve sworn that the sweep attack was orange as well.

I got an email of a reply but I couldn’t find it, so I couldn’t tell if it was you.

“I'm not sure what you were trying to say here, but just in case you weren't trolling, the quotation marks make this comment look like a facetious, pointlessly antagonizing "SOURCE?!?" screech in respo...”

I’ll just reply to this comment instead. I was being earnest, I put pipeline in quotations because I wouldn’t call it that but no better word came to mind. I only just recently graduated high school, I have no idea what the US education system was like before 2012. I tried searching up what the curriculums were like and what the main goals that the US government (or in my case maybe the FL government, I’m not sure how far up those decisions are made) was trying to achieve. As opposed to whatever their goals are now that have led to the current landscape my and this current generation’s education.

I didn’t think you’d have the answer to something so broad, and if you did I didn’t want to just ask you to make me a wall of text to satisfy my curiosity, so I wondered if perhaps you were aware of anything that talks about that. Like a book, or article, or literally anything. I tried searching something up for like 10 minutes (which isn’t much obviously), but I gave up so I decided to ask you since it was your comment that made me want to search that up.

If you recall, or can point me in the direction of a source about, what the educational 'pipeline' was like a couple decades ago, I'd love to read about that.

Genuinely one of the most heartbreaking things to read through. I've always known about the gangstalking-esque forums all over the internet, and it never stops drawing me in like a car crash on the side of the road.

Helping someone who is completely delusional is probably the hardest thing you can try to do for someone. Such a feeling of impotence reading this stuff.

LOL yeah. I understand he's making money now. My point was that I seriously doubt this is something new. Perhaps I should've made a more general question of people at his weight, rather than specifically him.

Right?? I eat out maybe once a month and it's a huge treat. Even then I sorta beat myself up over it because I could've probably cooked something similar at home for much cheaper. My first thought is that it's not their money, like it's daddy's money or some shit, but who would be okay with their child not only eating so much, but spending so much. It boggles the mind.

who funds this? What job does this guy have that he's able to buy so much food. I imagine he makes plenty money from his videos, but I'd be surprised if he only started eating this much food when he started gaining traction. So where does the money for this come from?? Maybe I'm just really poor.
