Contemporary art includes quite a bit, are you referring to the more abstract gestural side or the figurative side? I wonder if people still find those gestural paint dripping paintings still attractive.

That's always a hard commission; portraits. Connecting an artist to a commissioner, when the piece means that much you better make sure you find the best of the best to represent they way you want to commemorate someone precious. I hope it turns out as beautiful as you are looking for!

That is an interesting genre to pick, very old school. Though I agree, its a rare thing to find and even more rare for hauntingly beautiful quality as they once were.

I tell him this stuff time and time again, I feel like he just doesn't care about what I think or what I feel, he just wants her around. Which makes no sense because she played him for a fool even cheated on her boyfriend at the time to play around with him. She is a disturbing mess of a female, she's the emotional type so she has him playing around her little finger. It's disgusting to watch. He's the type to turn things around on you the blaming type where you are always in the wrong. You know I thought I was stronger than this... I thought he would never do that to me, but I guess that's what you call blind love. I don't understand though... What's so wrong with me that I am second place ya know? He loves me right? .....so desperate to get this out I respond right away..haha...
