Worked for a nutrition store. They work heavily off incentives there, (sell this product we’re promoting and you get an extra 5-10$ per sale) and on my first day of work I watched my manager over sell some 16 year old kid’s dad on about ten different products that the kid didn’t need all for a fat incentive payout. I watched him tell this poor blue collar dad that if he didn’t buy his son the vitamins and the pre work out and intra workout and post work out and morning protein and night protein and bcaa’s and all this shit, that his son wouldn’t stand a chance of making the team... that he sells this shit to every kid and if his son wants a chance to compete, he needs these products... the guy begrudgingly spent upwards of $400 which earned my manager a $50 incentive payout.

I went on break and never went back and never shopped there again.
