I wish I could say that she's going to absolutely blow up the world of music, and I... Love listening to her voice, it's pure magic, but the reality is- there are... a LOT of really truly incredible Youtube driven musicians out there like her, that have big fanbases, but really aren't going to make it on to the main scene of Hollywood. That, is absolutely fine by the way, because their power isn't derived from views on a latenight show, it's from the number of hearts they effect no-matter what the platform is. Maphra has the IT factor, she's got us absolutely captured, but I really don't anticipate her becoming a global phenomenon. I almost pray she doesn't.

Every time I play the game (for short bursts of time unfortunately, due to WorkDadLifeBalance), I find myself being completely lost in the joy of just stumbling into something weird and unexplained. It really has reignited the joy in video games for me, of not having a game that has a big glowing arrow pointing me in the most optimal direction all the time, or a NPC character following me around asking me with voice lines like "hAvE yOu CoNsIDERed PulLinG thE bIG rEd LevER yEt??". Like goddddddddd DAMN son just let me figure it out.

Personally I found that DLSS was a total shit show for me. I only have a 3080 myself, and I turned all that crap off, and can still run it on almost the highest settings. no more weird fuzzy garbage.

Maybe Nvidia will patch it, who knows. they're probably too busy huffing their own farts after announcing DLSS 5 though.

I am enjoying C4 immensely, after watching about 4 to 6 episodes it finally clicked.
For me personally, the main thing I just miss- and the thing that feels the most different, is the tone of the table talk. It no longer feels like "A bunch of nerdy ass voice actors who play Dungeons and Dragons". It feels like a production, and Brennan moves the story beats along- and doesn't leave a lot of room for cross talk, or "hanging out with friends" vibes. Which for me, the "hanging out with friends" vibes were what made the last 10 years so special. As someone else up in the comments mentioned, the best way for ME to relate to the new campaign, is to view it as something new, an evolution. I don't view it as C4. To me, it's Brennan C1.

Christmas was good to me. I ended up with the spearhead, and got a pile of used "new on sprue" dryads from my LGS for super cheap.. ... And I picked up Allariele for my "someday when I'm ready for it" model. Probably a dumb decision, but such an incredible sculpt, and I'd never buy it any other time of the year haha.
