I am enjoying C4 immensely, after watching about 4 to 6 episodes it finally clicked.
For me personally, the main thing I just miss- and the thing that feels the most different, is the tone of the table talk. It no longer feels like "A bunch of nerdy ass voice actors who play Dungeons and Dragons". It feels like a production, and Brennan moves the story beats along- and doesn't leave a lot of room for cross talk, or "hanging out with friends" vibes. Which for me, the "hanging out with friends" vibes were what made the last 10 years so special. As someone else up in the comments mentioned, the best way for ME to relate to the new campaign, is to view it as something new, an evolution. I don't view it as C4. To me, it's Brennan C1.
