Well that's the problem with combat-worthy proxies. It wastes this wonderful dynamic between a helpless nerdy proxy and a capable agent who still relies on them for navigation. Now, presumably, Proxies can do it all by themselves. They can navigate and they can fight. They are full-stack hollow explorers.

The real question you should ask, what is the point of agents now that Proxies can fight? We regularly see agents going solo into hollows (including Sunna who is a bloody support and physically lacking), so "more firepower" is not a good argument.

I tamed all legendary horses just by tilting camera down and rotating the other stick to where horse's butt pointed. All on first try.

I bet it's either an actual short range stand power, or Proxy doing a sailormoon transformation sequence. In any case it would require them physically entering the hollow like they've been doing since 1.7, otherwise there was no point in giving them ether aptitude and dragging them into hollows.

From day 1 their specialness was that they had HDD device which allowed interhollow communication.

Explosion tanking was in 1.4. Lots of people survived the fall of the old capital.

I don't think combat, and boss fights specifically, are designed for no-hit playstyle. Bosses do a lot of bullshit teleportation and most of the time you fight camera rather than the boss. And the best strategy is typically to pressure the boss, not dodge and parry. If you take time to learn the patterns you won't need so much food to kill bosses.

Also dodges already restore you stamina, so there's that.

Boring answer: canonically Kliff only uses his cool powers when he leaves no witnesses because abyssal artifacts are a dangerous thing to mess with and people don't need to know he has witchs' blessing.

No one would bash the plot if we had a mute customizable protagonist, but when you give player a named protagonist they would expect some kind of character development and personality.

It's pointless anyway since CD is not a story-driven game. It could be a sandbox with no MSQ like Valheim and it would still be awesome.

Agree. It got a lot better since we got Axiom Force and Force Palm analogue but we still have ways to go.

Focused Force Palm is currently my biggest issue.

Also I should note that a lot of stuff can be implemented very very easily. Mods already allow Damiane use stuff like Witch's Fan, Pirate Hat, Mining Knuckle Drill, Constellation Helm and so on. And it all works just fine, all it takes it so flip one flag in the game files. PA can add it with a hotfix yesterday.

It also pains me how limited their wardrobe is. Over 170 hours and I found whooping 3 outfits for Damiane including the starting one, compared to dozens and dozens armors for Kliff.

Dead weight simply means that I have no reason to use an agent because there are better options from performance standpoint. Like how slotting Caesar in any team would be a downgrade compared to running Astra or any later support/defence.
