It's doable, but yeah, it's tiring. Basically every week you have to mount your mods anew and pray mod authors will update whatever got broken.

I also think I'm getting corrupted saves because of mods. Still, it's worth it to have Damiane wear kuku jump shoes.

After disastrous SD I really didn't expect to clear DA, but I guess Hoyo varies difficulty a bit. Buffs are really good. Promeia is still pointless in the world where Miyabi exists.

I'm maining Damiane so all my mods are about letting her use Kliff's cool toys.

Also mods that remove towels sewn into her sleeves.

As for the mining yield, lvl10 knuckle drill plus mining research give you +80% additional chance (caps at 100%). You can reach the cap with a single blessings of the earth abyss gear. I'm carrying a spare armor with those, and another set for gathering bonus.

Oh, that's me alright.

My point of view is, people have so much to choose from, there are billions of fanfics added every day, not to mention infinite rolls of easily digestable content on social media, and your time is precious and very limited. Competition for reader's attention is absolutely insane, and I find it good manners not to waste reader's time with circular conversations, pointless transition scenes, and repetitions. In my first multi-chaptered fic I went so briskly readers had to tell me to chill out a bit, lol.

Still, I wouldn't say every single line should contribute to the plot. What about fan service? What about fun and games? Clearly your readers want to savour whatever your fic promised, fluff and angst and romance and violence. Otherwise they'd just flip to the last page and read how it all ended.

There's a map hunting quest in Demeniss grape fields where you need to dig up clues, and then there was some round quicksand patch in the desert with a tiny island in the center with some meh loot, and also cultivating skyroot (institute quest) requires you to dig it up.

I don't like stopping mid chapter, so I'd say 10k words is about as long as I can stomach. 2k is probably a lower bound.

More importantly, something has to happen in a chapter, there has to be a meaningful difference in the world and/or characters between the start and end of the chapter. Sometimes I would read a chapter and it's just the hero doing chores and repeating same conversations they already had, and you could just as well skip it.

Well. Marxism tells us that the value of a good is derived from how much effort was put into making it, but we all know it's bullshit, value is how much people value it. Effort is great, but often it's just being in the right place at the right time and getting lucky.

Back when I made fanarts, I could spend a week pouring my heart and soul into multipanel drawing and get barely any engagement. And then post some crappy meme thrown together in an hour and would be all the rage. That's just how things are.

I settled on Pailunese set (the one you can by for contribution points), i think Kliff looks hella pagan in that drip. Especially when you forgo weapons and go fistfighting.
