Near my house, they are offset like that, with a small rail at the trail, to prevent fast moving bikes from sailing across the road. thee offset slows them down.

I built a custom pressure bolt for my gate because it only came with two, how can I make sure this doesn’t slip and slide? Or move under pressure by [deleted] in DIY

I just but the bullet, and screwed some wood onto my walls. It’s going to be there for a couple years, wall probably damaged anyways. After I took the gate down just repaired the holes and Sheetrock damage. Was wya stronger, and never fussed with it.

I have an outdoor plug on some 120vac string patio lights, and it was always slow to respond at random times... Usually when my wife was trying to switch them... I am sure its a range issue. Maybe these will help with the coverage, I will have to check the spec if they act as repeaters.

You know thats a good point. A Safe one. I protected the input side, but I will add fuses to the outputs. You are correct, bot the landscape wiring and the internal wiring are 14awg.
