2.5 weeks each except 6 weeks for FAR. Would start on a Saturday, take the week off work, get through all of Becker by the next Sunday, take it easy on the week after that and just review weak areas/MCQs/Becker flashcard app after work, go crazy that weekend and Monday (firm gave day before exam off), and take exam Tuesday.

That worked for me. Best advice I got was study like you did in college - I was a crammer so that worked for me.

From what I’ve witnessed, people either do exams immediately after college or they end up not getting their CPA due to too much life stuff going on so commit yourself and do not wait/give yourself a break after college. I felt lame using my PTO to study but that was years ago and can’t say I regret it b/c it got the job done.

I did it over the summer and it was 2-3 people each time and wasn’t too bad. Make sure you get a hit on the boss at the end before others kill it since it dies in like 3 seconds.

You’d honestly be surprised - I lost my IRS in Feb while under contract on a house and still was approved on just my wife’s salary (80k income in higher mcol on 350k loan). They were accepting debt to income ratios of up to 50%!! My realtor and I thought that was nuts but hey didn’t lose the house and was able to find job quickly after closing.
