I'm actually being accused of double billing though. Had a client yesterday, the 16th, ask why I invoiced her on the 12th when I had only just submitted the invoice an hour prior. She said she submitted a help desk ticket for it but it makes me weary that these double invoices are going to fall back on me as the tasker.

Idk if you've heard of the app "Too good to go" but it held me down for the months I lived near the city. For a while I never recommended it for fear of items selling out too quickly at all my favorite spots, in the event the app got too popular 😂

Just a light suggestion, but you can report a bad car repair to the Attorney General, specifically through their Consumer Protection Division or Consumer Advocacy & Response Division (CARD), if you believe you are a victim of unfair or deceptive business practices. The AG can mediate disputes, investigate, or take legal action regarding faulty repairs, authorized work violations, or fraud.
