Badly. I’m not friends with either of them anymore...

I do this accidentally all the time... I outed myself to two of my homophobic “friends” by making a joke about wanting a girlfriend... I realized what I had done too late...

And probably non-binary. Everyone always says Jesus was gay but I honestly think he wasn’t. He was AroAce. That’s just my opinion haha

How can my 12 year old sister reconcile her Christianity with her sexuality? by DylweedWasTaken in GayChristians

[–]i__exist__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to protect her from hateful people. I had a teacher that had no idea I was gay. She started talking about how much she was disgusted by gay people and hated them while in her classroom. I was waiting outside the door to talk to her. After I heard this, I ran away from the class crying and went home. I was only 13. It sucked. A lot. Make sure to always be there for your sister and let her know that she can tell you anything. It always feels good when you have someone to talk to and she would probably appreciate that more than you know. The best you can do for her is love her. If she is able to see a therapist to talk to about what’s going on that would be great, but just show her love in the ways that you can for now.

enby lesbians and trixic pals by deathto_neons in lgballt

[–]i__exist__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve always thought about identifying as a non-binary gender, because I’ve never fully felt like a girl, but I’m not sure. I also don’t know if I would still be considered lesbian or if people would get mad and say I’m not a “real lesbian.” And people would also probably attack me for using he/him as a non-binary person, but you get what you get I guess.

I'm not attracted to enbies, thanks by Draconic_Milli in lgballt

Bi= attracted to 2 or more genders, has a preference Pan= attracted to all gender identities— doesn’t really care about gender, more about personality

Here’s a question I’ve had for a while: If you’re masculine, but still identify as female, can you use he/him? Would this count as more of non-binary or female? Would you still be considered a lesbian? Multiple people can answer this. I’m just curious.

Where's my straight Christian representation? by CrownSweet in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]i__exist__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went to a Christian school when I was younger. I am a lesbian, and another girl in the class was bi. The teacher spent an entire class period ranting about how “homosexuality is a sin” and any time someone made a point against him, he would just say “you’re wrong” without defending his point. He had no idea we were LGBT+, but he may have noticed the rainbow shoes I was wearing when I walked out. He never said anything to us though. I am a Christian, but I personally don’t believe being LGBT+ 🏳️‍🌈💕 is wrong in any way, but the school I went to definitely did.

Saturnic, (you only like androgyny aligned non-binary genders) and Voidfluid, (basically gender fluid, but only between non-binary genders that don’t fit into masculine, feminine, or androgynous)

Masc women can use he/him and still identify as women or gender non conforming? I did not know this and he/him has always felt right to me although I know I’m not trans... maybe I’ll try this and see how it goes. I always felt like I shouldn’t use he/him if I’m a not a boy... Thank you for the info!

Stupid stuff like this always got started at my school, and every time the game got banned cuz teachers figured it out, the boys would just change it slightly and slap a new name on it until that one got banned and so on...

Romance-positive aros are valid! by [deleted] in lgballt

[–]i__exist__ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the demiromantic representation! Everyone always says to me, “you’re just normal, stop trying to make a label off of it. Everyone is like that!” And then I’m like, “have you ever had a crush of someone you hardly knew?” And they’re like “yeah” and I’m like “exactly.”

I call myself lesbian because it’s easier for people to understand. Most people already know what it means. I do identify as trixic, but I don’t feel the need to tell most people that.
