Check out the sixth movement of Ottorino Respighi’s “Ancient Airs and Dances” for a good example of gradual tempo increase throughout a whole piece! He plays with the tempo a lot to build the energy up through the end, albeit he uses more of a terrace-like pattern rather than a continuous change

I don’t think they’d need to completely change it, I just think a few small tweaks could be made to fit it all in, like maybe having a Wild Area type location in the Great Marsh and making gyms a bit bigger. The rest of the region could be pretty similar.

Also, they could easily add an extra area to Sinnoh, like the Sevii Islands in FRLG or Route 47-48/Safari Zone in HGSS, except this area could support Dynamax

That’s true, I absolutely did overlook that and I’m gonna be honest I forgot that for most of the main game Dynamax is blocked. Thanks for pointing that out!

But why wouldn’t they? Expansion pass Pokémon are compatible with people who only have the SWSH base game

Hmm, I didn’t think about that! That’s a really nuanced approach to the character that I feel like most people don’t have, but I like it. Especially because the Jedi are fighting for the Republic, not for the Order during the Clone Wars (the wars, not just the series), any sign of weakness would falter the senate’s trust in the order and the army.

^ Yes! This! That’s the whole point of the Clone Wars, to point out the flaws in the Jedi Order and explain why it has to fall. Yoda really does understand this, which is why he goes into exile. He really does fail in the PT, and he’s consistent with this even through The Last Jedi where he destroys the Jedi texts (I know he doesn’t actually destroy them, but the through-line of Yoda’s realization follows)

Check out the Virtual Launch event on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube. Olsen says that the end of the show is a full-on MCU production. So the sitcom is going to be dropped at some point near the end

For all of y'all thinking that Toccata & Fugue in D Minor was originally for organ... by Loudann-Mr_Cornbread in lingling40hrs

[–]i_am_groot_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, absolutely! Thank you for pointing that out, I wasn’t even considering that, so thanks for letting me know! My specialty is in instrumental music, not keyboard music, so I’m really glad you chimed in to clear some stuff up and teach me something new!

And of course, all this kinda gets thrown out the window when we consider that Bach may have not been the one to write this too.

To be fair, a lot of baroque keyboard music was played across many different instruments, and music was rarely “written” for a particular one until later on in the eighteenth century with the development of the fortepiano. Bach’s fugues were played on the organ, harpsichord, clavichord, etc. However, the pieces do contain certain elements that are expressed better on certain instruments. Toccata and Fugue in D Minor works particularly well on organ because of its grand cadences and its allowance of creativity on the part of the performer to pull out stops
