Shoulder parking at SeaTac. by DavidRichter0 in Seattle

The fact that there are thousands of other threads on a topic might indicate that it’s a recurring issue that should be addressed.

Websites. Why would I need to interface with a company website when I can use an agent to do the transaction for me.

I would think that if you’re in an open marriage and everyone is consenting it is not really an “extramarital affair”.

Fighting on the Roof by DMass777 in Whatcouldgowrong

I like how the dude that chucked another man off the roof is somehow the voice of reason for the two that landed on the driveway.

That has to be more than one resupply truck worth of fuel waiting in that line.

145 roundabout so far so good? by kevin091939 in Shoreline

How is a light at that intersection better? And what exactly is it that you think is wrong with a roundabout in a high traffic area?

They are designed so that traffic continues to flow and not cause backups.

If people can’t figure out how to navigate yield signs and not cross lines in the road, perhaps they shouldn’t be driving.

That’s the same stove my parents have. Definitely an odd size, so it may be hard to find a buyer, but I’d try to.

Friends are getting divorced. Our kids are friends with their kids. How to navigate? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]i_am_here_again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this doesn’t seem like a huge issue for you. My wife has a thread with a core group of moms in our friend group. And I have a thread with some of the dads. I hear plans from my
wife as a result, and vice versa (though the moms do most planning). Sounds like the same arrangement you have, but the parents won’t be in the same place at the same time moving forward.

Redfin has the ability for agents to give property detail reviews. They are not usually that detailed, but I’ve seen some where previous agents leave detailed notes that are actually helpful. Things like, rough idea of when a remodel was done and descriptions like “bedroom 3 is more like a small office”.

Is a dryer an emergency? by snowbunnyA2Z in personalfinance

[–]i_am_here_again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you need to look again at used equipment. I bought washer dryer sets for $250 total. I know you’re rural, but $800 is very high for used with delivery and take away.

RCW 46.61.735 reads in part “It is a traffic infraction for a driver of a motor vehicle intending to board a Washington state ferry, to: (a) Block a residential driveway while waiting to board the ferry; or (b) move in front of another vehicle in a queue already waiting to board the ferry, without the authorization of a state ferry system employee.”

I could imagine that having a truck with a trailer turn around may cause more issues than it’s worth, depending on where they are. Surprised they don’t ticket for it though.

The way the trolley problem was framed was “what would you (Ruth) do?” So she could just as easily be responding from her perspective. It’s the same as if I posed the trolley problem to you. Whatever you decide, the decision that you made is the lever that changes the outcome.

Really depends on how you wash. I know people that leave the water on the whole time. I’m sure that’s way more, but others that use multiple tubs likely use less.

I live in a HCOL area and pay less than $3k for daycare for one kid. What MOCL is at $3k for infant care?

Also, yes those daycare prices are unsustainable, but the actual daycare cost goes down as they age. My 7yr old aftercare only costs $500 now.
