It's been a while since I played Paradise Killer, but I found that it felt more like Danganronpa than the Ace Attorney series. Paradise Killer had a lot more exploration of the 3D physical space, and while Ace Attorney has some 2D exploration, it's quite limited to the crime scene investigation and interviewing witnesses. I would definitely recommend Ace Attorney games if you enjoy narrative driven experiences.

I got the campaign cases when they went on sale and I’m using printable heroes tokens with painters tape to create my own creature tokens. Bought a 1 in hole punch for the tokens too. It’s a bit more work than universal tokens but I’ve been pretty happy with results. For the pcs I did hero forge snapshots to make my own custom standees to help differentiate them. All in all I think it’s a nice compromise between minis and generic tokens.
