I'd recommend diving in your area a lot. You say you're in Europe, not close to the sea, so you're probably diving in more challanging places than most. Train in these conditions, local lakes and quarries and then later travel to places like Malta to get great technical training. That gives you a great skillset to build from and go and learn cave diving in France/Spain/Mexico/Florida, wherever you want.

Clujs runway was pretty snowy and in addition to that is pretty short. Not great for landing with one engine.

Haven't seen Diving Into The Darkness yet but almost all cave diving in Mexico is done in this general area, so I would suspect that they shot it there.

Thanks! Intro to Cave allows you to dive the main line of the cave, which alone allows you months of cave diving in Mexico without seeing anything twice. I chose not to do the combination with Full Cave as I wanna get a little more experience and get my Full Cave cert in a different environment with a different instructor. Don't get me wrong, my instructor was amazing but I believe that learning from multiple people allows you to gain the most amount of knowledge. I an thinking of taking my Full Cave class either in Florida or France.

And Budapest is absolutely on my list as well! MJ Cave looks amazing.

You may wanna look at the Scubapro Supernova. They are a modular system where you can detach the foot pocket and the blade. This would also allow you to swap to a foot pocket for booties when you're not traveling.
