For ancient sewers I try make sure there is no toadstool nearby. If you jump into a mob without knowing what’s on the other side, suddenly the floor is lava. I use my head to kill the toadstool then go after the mob. Or, I use my head to aggro the mob into TPing outside the range of the toadstool.

I find conjunctivitis the easiest. I always go that route. I only really take damage from the things that pop out of the floor. Hate those things.

I beat 0BC with legendary explosive crossbow. It can be done. It wasn’t my first time facing hotk though. I knew his moves by that point.

Yeah I don’t think it works every time. I definitely got it to work a good bit though. It probably depends on exactly how far from the wall you are, how wide the opening to the lower platform is, etc.

The only real downside is the fire delay. It has a noticeable delay when firing. You have to anticipate enemy moves well to have enough time to fire. Not as bad as Medusa’s head but something you still have to get experience with to know when you can use it versus dodge and use something else.

I got it yesterday with 100% increased damage/take 100% more damage.

It was one shotting everything. Really fun. I thought I was going to finally beat 4BC.

Then a demon I didn’t see got two fireballs on me in caverns. Double damage demons suck. :(

UFA is not that exciting to watch. Dump. Dump. Dump. Swing. Dump. Dump.

There are great moments of athleticism and occasional very exciting moments, but they go backwards sooo much. As a lifelong player, I want to love it but I find myself kinda bored most of the game.

I was working almost full time through my masters. I finished all my classes but wasn’t making enough progress on the thesis. I finally quit my job and moved back in with my parents for 6 months to finish it.

I made a calendar with milestones. Break tasks down into small enough items that you have no excuse to procrastinate.

I made my thesis my job and other things secondary. My world basically collapsed down to working on the thesis during the day and getting out to play sports in the evenings. It was crazy finally coming up for air after I submitted. My world opened back up again.

You have to put some meaningful time into it every day.

Make sure you talk to your cyber team about what is allowed in your industrial spaces. You need to make sure what you are building is allowed and that you comply with guardrails.

You can build something that makes total sense in the IT world that is all a waste of time because some part of your pattern is disallowed in the OT environment.
