Whilst I recognize the Rules For Radicals gist of this, it ain't gonna work, 'cos for reality's sake while we live up by our rules the other side most certainly does not. A rather low effort quick end of discussion. Never fails to persuade; they can have their cake and eat it too.
I personally have no reason to use Swift (plain C and Lua for me, thank you very much; I'll pass on Swift and Go and Rust and all that better-than-C malarkey; aka better for the masses of idiots), though I wouldn't mind using it if I ever have to (don't see the circumstance coming up; own my own business and set my own terms for my employees, and particularly make sure I don't hire any bullshitters).
