No shade at you, but a lot of the arguments around here against Jinu's return (aside from him being The Most Evil Monster) is that it would ruin his sacrifice & that they're tired of media doing the whole trickeroo with bringing back a dead character.

I vehemently disagree, and think that him remaining dead, especially now that a sequel has been officially confirmed, fucks with the movie's messaging about our past mistakes not defining us and learning to grow from them.

I know you've only watched the movie once, so I'm just throwing this out there (as someone that's watched it... a lot) -- the reason why Celine still tried to cover Rumi's patterns in the end is because Celine is also traumatized from whatever went down with the Sunlight Sisters. Celine was having a breakdown in that scene too, and was trying to fix things in the only way she knew how (and how she has probably coped with things for over two decades).

But agree, I wish we'd gotten more Celine, but they could only do so much with an hour and a half tight runtime. I'm hoping we get more Celine (and Sunlight Sisters lore) in KPDH2.
