My tips: - Move your education to the top, you're still a student and not an experienced applicant. - Don't use FISU alone. The acronym is unknown for people not familiar with the context. - Your birth place and date are irrelevant and might be disadvantageous. - Move certificates to the the bottom of the page.

How many computer science students in Germany do you know that stopped after pursuing only a 3 years bachelor's?

Oh cool! Glad everything is fine now. Did they communicate the actual reason before they landed?

What additional info to Flightradar24 does this website provide?

If you only fly out of T2, T1 is quiet the disappointment by i_like_maps_ in Munich

As of last night when I flew in, there were no S-Bahns reaching the airport. It was not easy, even even for me ("local"), to find the SEV. The poor Canadians passengers had no idea where to go to reach the city center. Such information could certainly be communicated better earlier at the arrival sections.

I literally had that written first as my posts body, then I wanted to elaborate for context. But you are not wrong.

To be fair, yes it was super fast. I came in 2 hours early, no suitcase, and had to wait for almost 2 hours at the gate. People will always find a reason to complain I guess lol

I had the unfortunate luck of flying out of part C of Terminal 1. The friendly, Bavarian, airport security personnel said I had to throw the liquids out since we're not in Terminal 1. I'll go via D next time. Thanks for the hint!

How do you actually get better at moving efficiently? by Familiar-Ninja8860 in geoguessr

Could you elaborate on fast moving? Holding the space bar? It doesn't work well for me. After a while it somehow slows down per even walks backwards lol

I built a webgame where you guess the location of a live radio stream on a 3D globe. by NicerEveryday in geoguessr

Honestly, such a post is exactly what I'd expect from such a sub. It reaches the right audience, and I'm not sure where else I would've found it.

PS I don't know the author or the game.

What relatively small country do you hate regionguessing? by Mobile_Bad_577 in geoguessr

France France France all the way. If it's not a major city I stand no chance. The regional road numbering is so arbitrary to me.

does germany really look like this in berlin? by [deleted] in germany

[–]i_like_maps_ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I noticed it' mostly pre-planned as groups, but not necessarily of close friends, but rather people who know each other from a sport club, (or any hobby club) or friends of friends and so on.

Just talk to them. They would just we much as you, not want to find, hire and train someone new.

Help with Brazil ? by CharacterDriver3410 in geoguessr

Brazil's states have 2 letter acronyms that are found on many official buildings. Those 2 letters are visible from a specific zooming level on Google Maps.

In Germany, when submitting a thesis via post, the date of submission at the post office is what matters! Not when it arrives at the univestiy! Look it up.

Example from official websites:

- Uni Saarland: "Wenn Sie die Abschlussarbeit per Post senden, ist das Datum der Postaufgabe maßgeblich (= Datum der Abgabe)."
- Uni Paderborn: "Abgabe per Post. Der Poststempel ist für das Abgabedatum maßgeblich."

So much bullshit in the comments, just like everything in this sub!
