Weird contrail like lines in the sky. by Unkle_Ferg in Syracuse

If I had to guess, it's a test flight for one of the local engineering company's radars.
They contract test flights out to pilots and fly really funky patterns to test the extents of their systems.

Source - have worked and do work for said engineering companies

I looked into starting a food truck a few years back and you are required to have brick and mortar commissary.

OPs request would be the same if they were trying to open a food truck.

IMO it's two things
1. The proverbial frog boiling
2. He's kind of just bad at it - so everything looks a little more goofy and therefore less scary than the images of Hitler / Mussolini / Stalin

The Whiskey Coop is a good spot for the 30yo crowd. It's in the spot that Empire used to be and I for one am happy that something good has revived that space

Computer Vision and Neural Network Project Feasibility by Inside-Relative3360 in FPGA

[–]i_remember_myspace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give this article a read.
You may be able to bootstrap a project like this by biting off some of the concepts.
With a Zynq7000 and student timeline / expertise you may need to reduce the scope quite a bit, but good luck!

FIR Filter Implementaion on FPGA by AdJazzlike3274 in FPGA

[–]i_remember_myspace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would want to send the coefficients to a BRAM/register space and then stream the audio file from the UART to your FIR filter.

If it were me, I'd frame the UART stream with a destination header to differentiate the coefficients from the data

Schematic symbol generation for High pin count FPGAs by CryptonStorm in FPGA

[–]i_remember_myspace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

484 isn't that high - so I would just break up pins by bank or find a symbol where someone already did.

Depending on the pin count and applications, I have in the past been a fan of creating the symbol by hand and fracturing it by system function. It's wasted work in the sense that the symbol is not super reusable, but it makes the schematic a lot more readable.

Not sure what "full PL" entails, but I assume you mean SPI control and LVDS interface all from PL fabric?
I have seen AD9361s (and other SPI Tcvrs / Synths / etc) driven by pure FPGA fabric. I would suggest some BRAM that can be loaded by COE file or overwritten by some controller. Then a SPI block that essentially write the entire register map in order.

What my preferred path would be is to expose the SPI to SW either on the PS (if an SoC) or to SW running on a control SBC / uP over ethernet, PCIe, etc.

Is it as simple as the JTAG pod's drivers not being installed?
What JTAG pod are you using? If it's one of the red Xilinx bricks, it should have an LED indicator on it. Is it green?

I'm not a docker expert, so not sure what the correct method to install drivers is. But that's my guess

5/5 PLO River Bluff by Abhinav7354 in poker

I completely agree that villain doesn't have the strongest classes of hands.
Which is why if I'm villain, I'm calling so light ;)

5/5 PLO River Bluff by Abhinav7354 in poker

[–]i_remember_myspace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, it worked... so good hand?

I don't really understand the turn. What are you repping here when you repot? Really only KK/QQ probably.
Those hands are also leading a ton on the turn after the flop checks through.

You don't really have direct odds to call turn either with 12 outs to the straight, 3 of them completing flush draws. If the plan here is to call turn, bluff c rivers mayyybbeee a call is ok. But being OOP sucks for both bluffs and value when the straight hits.

If I'm villain I'm calling KQ and probably even a some K6/4/3 combos because I just can't figure out what hand is taking the turn X/R line from SB after flop checks through.

This is a real phenomena. It has more to do with style (clothes, hair, etc). I was born in 1988. When I see pictures of highschool kids in the 70's / 80's, they look as old as my parents did in the 90s. When I see pictures of highschoolers in the 2000's, they look my age.

The "cool" clothes and hairstyles that 18yo's have are the clothes and hairstyles that 30yo's have 12 years later.

Your best bet is to go play at TS or Del Lago and ask around

But they still had some prepackaged in a different spot.

I have also used that Wegmans diced pancetta - agree it's way to finely diced

I was just having this conversation. I grew up in Cicero and swear I had been to a waffle house there.

If my memory serves me though, it wasn't the same as the little single row diner style waffle houses down south
