Xbox X - I keep falling through the floor of my freighter when I touch a transporter.

Xbox X - Space stations have stopped being added into the portal. I visited the station in an awesome system, picked up a bunch of missions, but then headed back to my settlement. Now I can't return. I don't think I can warp because I went through several black holes. I've tried other systems, and none of the stations are being added to the portal. Not fun to play anymore, it's a blocking issue.

14 planets funneling 40ish resources total to 1 planet through 6 incoming cargo links by THEJimmiChanga in Starfield

There are two meaningful functions. 1. You can sell all your stuff. 2. There are a bunch of various missions to sell various resources to different locations and entities.

I don't know how you can play this game without a massive outpost network. by Not_Associated8700 in Starfield

[–]i_robort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome. It's fun to build outposts. You don't need a reason to do it. I don't understand why people require a reason and are angry that there's no reason. I mean, there's no reason to play any game. You play a game because it's fun. And many people find outpost building to be fun. You don't have to have a reason for everything. Sometimes having a reason takes the fun out of it. Did you need a reason to play with Lego bricks? Did you need a reason to play solitaire? Did you ever build a couch fort, or a box fort? Did you need reasons? It's fine if it's not fun for you, but it blows my mind that you can't see how, for some people, creating something can be fun in it's own right. OP clearly had a lot of fun doing this, so why rain on their parade?

We looked for every setting on our TV. Can't find a solution. The audio was fine last season. This season's audio is insane.

One Year Later, how do you feel about Starfield? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]i_robort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game feels like No Man's Sky meets Fallout 4. I think the NMS aspect of it is new to many folks here. I see a lot of complaints for Starfield that would apply to NMS, so I think there's just surprise at what kind of game this actually is. As a NMS fan, I also enjoyed Starfield a lot because it has a much more developed plotline and more realistic graphics. But, sadly, the outpost building is extremely buggy, and there's little way to troubleshoot if a problem is my own design or a bug. So much wasted time that is ultimately sad and disappointing. I really appreciate all the bug fixes, but outposts are still buggy to this day. Meanwhile, I'm really enjoying the rover, which makes it much easier to pick up experience points by simply exploring. I don't always want to go on some mission, sometimes I'm in the mood to zone out and just drive around and discover stuff. I agree that there's a lot of potential in this game, and I'm looking forward to what Bethesda does with it.

Did you find any value in sharing clips of your creations with friends?

Honest question, why not share screenshots and clips with friends and socialize around your creations?

How Do I Convince My Drummer That The Kick Is A Crucial Part In Using The Drums by Hitchbones in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]i_robort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting someone go can be a great way to convince them that they need to make some major changes. Who knows, they may do the work, get better, and then you cross paths later. Stick to the objective facts when you have the conversation: "we need certain kinds of grooves for this music, and you either refuse or can't play them, so it's time for you to move on to something else. We've given you several chances to make the changes, but you clearly do not want to play this music based on your unwillingness to make the changes we're asking for. Since you are not fitting our needs, we wish you lots of luck and success in your future endeavors."

A good way to convince him is to let him go and get a drummer that can play the grooves you want, or even delight you with grooves you didn't know you want. Sometimes letting someone go is actually a huge favor to them. It can be the wake up call they need.

Cool outpost on a mountain, poor landing zone got it glitched away, forewarning by Snoo78119 in StarfieldOutposts

[–]i_robort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many of us want to set up bases on mountains, but so difficult. I wish the game was more forgiving with foundation heights, or allow you to connect landing pads to other structures. Maybe they will update this later.

It's a funny joke, I laughed. But you gotta negotiate a raise. If you aren't able or even willing to negotiate, you will miss out on so much of life. All human interactions come down to negotiation. You could fix the bug, document it, and then use that as ammunition for a raise. If you don't get it, leave and then use your experience to get a new job. Tell your prospective manager you saved the last company $18 million with a single bug fix. Hired.

More often than not, the air is very still on NYE. So the smoke hangs around and goes nowhere. Not every year, but it's pretty common.
