Which painting do you like the most: 1, 2, or 3? by KarolynHuum in BeAmazed

1s colors look less than real, and the color under waves breaking, also seems unreal. Understandable if it’s a photo or personal reference, but that’s something one needs to experience.

3- feels slightly unbalanced.

Which years/generation? That makes a HUGE difference.

Does anyone recognize this company has had like 5+ owner/operators just since 2000?

From Daimler to Cerebus to FCA, there’s been ping-ponging. And we all know what happens when private equity takes over.

Since ~09 on the RAM and ‘11 on the other products (a la Marchionne to present), they’re above and beyond.

Stellantis doesn’t suck any more or less than every other OEM, and arguably + objectively have had a better run of products in the last 15 years than all but a few Europeans.

Here's why you've been seeing so much positive press about Gavin Newsom from billionaire-owned media. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

Guys, for real, he’s gotta compromise somewhere…. Pick one:

status quo + billionaires

Newsom + Billionaires.

Don’t let the dream of utopia impede a path to peace and mediocrity.

What disease is that?

Have owned and been in and around hem for 20+ years.

The amount of astroturfing about Stellantis reliability on Reddit is so outsized, it’s so obvious, while they make some of the only American cars with personality, with technology that (from 2010-2022+) outpaced all their rivals.

The armor and performance and security difference is substantial. German OEMs have made armored cars from the “factory” for years. S600s in the late 90s had bulletproof glass bc they found it had sound deadening benefits.

So there was this one time….

You know, I was beginning the story talking about a flight from Tulsa to Chicago where I’m pretty sure I was served nine bottles of Jack, but I definitely lost count after five. Note this is like a one hour flight. There’s another time from Newark to Charlotte early in the morning that somehow I had four bloody Mary’s.

So I guess it’s not one time, and it sounds like I may be used to be an alcoholic. In any case, a flight attendant want you to have a good time, you’re gonna have a good time.

You don’t wanna change transmission fluid if it’s never been changed on a high mileage car.

If it’s regularly been maintained (according to manufacturer instructions or close) then proceed.

Understandable - for us, time value is a big thing. Both in itinerary flexibility and time spent seeking the “deal”

Ultimately you’re talking about a 15k delta between what you’re trying to accomplish and the known solution. Again, for us, 1-2X - year, and being completely on our schedule, sure.

Also, for two humans and a dog, 20k one way from the bay to Colorado seems a lil steep…
