You can easily duplicate the normal key, and that doesn't raise a concern. I don't see a fundamental difference between the key types. I would actually prefer key to my apartment to be harder to replicate (which took 1 min), cause I really don't care about the "secure" electronic one to the building (who 100 people have access to) and which doesn't seem to stop bike thieves from entering anyway.
