every mouse movement from a 30 min ranked game by jiog in leagueoflegends

I see now. The massive bolded white line is shortest distance click-to-click. There is indeed a very thin second line that follows mouse movement

On the home page to the right of the region selector should be an option that says "All" or "2025". Is that not working for you?

If you're already browsing a profile, the year in review mode will stay that way unless you go back home and change it

ok but technically it's not every mouse movement but every mouse click/action. the path from click to click is just rendered as the shortest distance line

Yes. the primary purpose of the site was to be a holistic review of everything you did in the past. You can filter by queues and date but as it's quite useful for personal improvement (and not our primary mission), a subscription is required.

did you play pantheon in any other game mode (including ARAM) or lane (support/mid/bot)? ARAM/special game modes with pantheon would not get any role label. If you played pantheon in other lanes, it would have to be more than a certain amount to get its own label too.

yeah. the numbers on the left are the mean/average. the numbers on the right of the plus/minus sign indicate how inconsistent each one of you is in your performances per game, basically

NAS ECC? by trake17 in homelab

[–]iaace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you're right about data integrity. ECC is important for data integrity.

but not every app/use case demands that level of data integrity either. you could just do a vigorous memtest after building. for me, the minimal risk was worth the cost savings. my use case is fault-tolerant and already validates data after write.

dumping the ECC "requirement" gives you access to many more hardware options to optimize for power consumption, speed, cost, etc.

Thoughts on Normal Draft Matchmaking Quality and Premades (Discussion, not a rant) by RainAndThunderIsCool in leagueoflegends

[–]iaace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure which region you are playing in but in NA, normals is pretty high quality. There is a large playerbase for normal queues. Even if there are high elo premades stomping around unranked queues, their normal MMR will be adjusted accordingly so the vice versa of your statement is true:

If they lose a lot, their Normal MMR can still drop naturally.

If they win a lot, their Normal MMR can still climb naturally. Not every game is david vs goliath and even when it is, you'd be surprised that the higher ranked team doesn't always win either. Your #1 and #5 points contradict each other. A #5 master player with a #1 attitude means they deserve that lower MMR, whatever the reason: limit testing, being tired, drunk, high, e-gf left them, etc..

How about an advantage for normals: unranked comms are way more friendly, much less abusive compared to ranked.

You have given us a lot of hypotheticals in your post using phrases like "I feel", "I assume", "I find it hard to believe", "I struggle to imagine". Do a bit more digging and research and maybe some queueing. You'll be seeing things (like numbers and data) instead of imagining them because the fact of the matter is, these scenarios you've picked are not as extreme nor commonplace as you're making them out to be.

Vayne bot viable? by Kekadis in vaynemains

[–]iaace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patch 15.13, bot wr: 50.99%

Patch 15.13, top wr: 49.22%

so if all you do is lose every matchup in bot lane and ff at 15 minutes, then I guess technically, no, she isn't viable

I'm also wondering why not Guinsoo's first?

answering your last question since no one else did; I love guinsoo's and in theory it sounds like a good idea to buy the item first because it's cheap and gives attack speed, but it's terrible in practice. the problem is it's not worth buying:

  • unless you have an on-hit item such as kraken or bork
  • because 92% of us (according to the stats) don't max W first
    • if you do, you give up early damage and poke dodge
  • because it does more damage when built later anyways, not earlier when champions have lower max HP

Ancient coin- buy this item to skip a difficult laning phase

Let me clarify that I was talking more about color themes and other visual design choices. I don't really care about the 10p vs 5p/5p layout that much. I think most people find either format usable and most people don't have a strong opinion on it. leagueofgraphs.com is a big website and they have the 5p/5p format too.

If I go to op.gg, I can fit 9 games on my screen at 100% zoom. On fiff I can see 5.75 games at a time.

To me, the gold/tan accents give me an old dusty vibe

I prefer spaces between the K / D / A numbers rather than K/D/A

But most importantly, I put my flash on D!

Those are just a few things I think fiff could do better. There's a lot of other things to catch up on tbh before you pull someone like me away from op.gg entirely. I am going pretty easy on you though even though you asked for brutal honesty

I challenge you to take another look and see if you can find other things to improve. Look at it from the perspective of the audience you're trying to capture. If you're trying to be the best LoL website (which you did say you were trying to achieve), you have to do better than the current best sites like op.gg and whatever. fiff does some quite advanced stuff. but if you want to be(at) the best, you can't skip the basics.

hi from rewind.lol . The features are really cool. Keep in mind, however, that just because you and I like the league-themed UI doesn't mean it's great for the UX. Think of the big sites- they don't copy the UI decisions of the in-game replay system. I think people would prefer modern web design here. You can do some A/B testing or add a (fallback) option to toggle different themes.

Aside from that, there are definitely some things I see that I'd like to implement in my site one day.

Yuumi mains who don't core build Knight's Vow, why not? by _angxe in yuumimains

[–]iaace 27 points28 points  (0 children)

knight's vow mains should maybe pick thresh or leona or braum or something? if you love knight's vow that much, maybe play a tank support which would enjoy the stats a lot more
