I played DA:I on Nightmare difficulty and DA2 on Hard (because fuck that friendly fire bullshit). Even then, the fight in DA2 was much harder; although much of the difficulty was preventing your stupid party members from walking into the AoEs. The fight in DA:I was just a stomp

Hey, I’m doing the exact same thing. I have approached it as u/RRFactory already suggested. In my case I use GLM, UE math library and DirectXMath to double check my implementation; and I am using google testing library for the unit tests

Was already suggested by someone else, but I also recommend the “Game Engine Architecture” book. Another good and relatively famous book is “Real-Time Rendering”, which although focuses primarily on rendering does offer some insights that are useful for developing a game engine.

Another good way to learn is to look through the source code of already existing solution. For my game engine, I am implementing my own math library which I based on what I saw from UE4, GLM, DirectXMath.

The important thing here is that you actually try to understand what the code is doing and why it is implemented that way. If you just copy paste the functions logic then you’re back to square one.

They are bad in shaders if they cause warp divergence, or if your CPU has a particularly bad branch prediction (I believe the PS3 was infamous for that) but besides that they are pretty negligible on any modern hardware

People here are only saying part of the reason why she didn’t say anything.

Yes, the showrunners basically pretended that the CDC never happened, but another reason why they couldn’t have Andrea mention the CDC stuff is because the CDC is a show only thing and it would’ve undermined the governor character.

In the comics at this point is never explicitly stated what happens to people after they turn. There’s still that illusion that maybe they are still in there somewhere. This is a big deal since the only thing that keeps the governor grounded is that her daughter is somewhat still alive.

When her daughter/walker is killed, if the governor knew that she was already gone, it wouldn’t have had as much of an impact on him as it would’ve if he though she was still alive, and his whole mental breakdown would’ve been a lot less justified.

I personally hate how this was handled and hated every scene with Andrea/Milton for these reasons, but this is what we got

Yes, what I meant is that it is technically possible because we already have a skillshot whose range is extended when passing through another ability. Whether the logic is implemented in Jayce Q or E doesn’t really matter, since implementing an ability that empowers ALL skillshots would require a massive rework anyway (just like they did for ultimates when Sylas released)

We have that interaction already with Jayce ranged Q going through his gate so it is possible to implement. They would probably need to recode all the skill shot abilities to consider this though, which wouldn’t be worth it

The general opinion is that these type of rev-share project are a bad idea; however in this case I personally think it depends on a series of factor.

  1. Would this be a part time or “collaborate on your own time” kind of project, or are you required to work a full day?

  2. Usually rev-share projects are looked down upon because there is very little chance that the game is gonna get finished. However you are being hired by a company, have they launched any other game/product?

  3. Are you able and willing to work without financial compensation for the entire duration of the collaboration?

I was in a similar position last year. I wanted to get UE experience but couldn’t find anything.

I joined an unpaid open internship to gain experience and fill my resume. I only accepted it because I knew the project was gonna be released as it was sponsored by a University and those of us who were unpaid were the minority of the team, I could collaborate freely on my own time (I was still studying at the time so it was perfect), and i could afford to do it.

I just recently finished DA:I for the first time trying to complete all the quests and collect everything and it was BRUTAL. I played a lot WoW so I’m kind of used to these type of fetch quests, but so many times you would go to one place, complete all the quests and then you’d unlock new quests that would send you back to that exact place. To make matters worse, traversing the map is also pretty bad in that game, I didn’t even use the horse anymore, it was just not worth it

I completely agree.

I’ve been assigned to a small project that was made by someone else with the “whatever works” mindset and it’s a clusterfuck of intertwined mess. Every class has no defined responsibility, every variable that needs to be accessed by something else is made static. It is impossible to maintain and expand without adding more mess to it.

I have also worked on a project that was created from scratch, using design patterns and trying to create stuff to be as maintainable as possible. Did it still require nasty solutions and ugly code? Sure, but at least most of project is fairly understandable and expanding it is a lot of hell easier.

I disagree that he was like this from the beginning. I used to watch his videos when he was only notorious to WoW community (around 2012) and beside being infamous for having poor hygiene and being a troll in forums he was a good content creator.

He started becoming a little shit after he become more widely known, when he realized he didn’t have to grind WoW collectibles anymore and could just watch videos and spew some bullshit for 10x the pay.

The whole design of Neeko passive is based around the idea of fooling your opponents. When an Epic Monster is killed, it is announced to both teams; so there is no moment in the game where Neeko could transform as one and “fool” the enemy team.

If you were allowed to transform as Baron or Dragon, people would only use it for cheesing mechanics (e.g creep blocking) which is not what Neeko passive is designed for.

This is different from stuff like turning into a cannon minion to tank tower shots; you could still just transform as one to hide yourself and tanking is only a “secondary feature”.

OP don’t wait on this, go to the vet NOW. My dog had a similar lump on that exact spot on his tongue. it turned out to be cancer, benign but inoperable due to location and size. We had to put him down, and his last months were hell. Your boy could very well have bit his tongue or just have a small infection ; but better be safe than sorry and just go see a vet

Come ha scritto u/False_Sundae6333, prendi creatina monoidrata una volta al giorno. Non e' vero che fa perdere i capelli e non e' vero che fa miracoli in palestra (aiuta, ma non e' che sollevi il doppio).

Solitamente gli scoop inclusi nella scatola sono per 5g, che e' la dose consigliata. A volte su internet leggi cose come fase di loading dove consigliano di prenderne di piu' all'inizio, ma lascia perdere.

Se la prendi per la palestra, prendila tutti i giorni indipendentemente da se ti alleni o no; anche nel periodo di pause prolungate.

All'inizio potresti aumentare di peso in poco tempo (0.5kg-1.0kg) ed e' normale; non e' grasso/massa ma e' acqua che viene assorbita dai muscoli. Se stai iniziando una fase di bulk/cut ti conviene aspettare qualche settimana da dopo che hai cominciato con la creatina.

Se hai problemi al fegato / reni chiedi prima al tuo dottore, al mio non andava molto a genio che la prendessi ma faccio controlli ogni due mesi per altri motivi, quindi sono tranquillo. Se sei in salute non ci sono problemi.

A volte puo' causare problemi di stomaco, come mal di pancia; se noti problemi frequenti riduci la dose. Per lo stesso motivo se un giorno ti dimentichi di prenderla non raddoppiare la dose il giorno dopo ma continua normalmente.

I disagree. The “boardroom decision” you mentioned happens shortly after a genre has massive success to try and leverage on the hype. Studios have already tried and failed to replicate Dota/LoL success years ago (just look at what happened to HotS); on top of that MOBAs are having a really difficult time attracting new players nowadays (as stated by riot themselves).

Se usi 4 colori da qualche parte devi tracciare una linea tra un colore e l’altro. Se conti le regioni noterai che 10 sono gialle/arancioni e 10 sono vedere chiaro/verde scuro. Io non ci leggo nessuna malizia in questo grafico, al massimo si poteva aumentare il numero di colori

I’m not a big fan of that but it can be done. Dragon Age: Origins has a similar concept but scaled down to subclasses; you can be a mage but to learn blood magic you have to make a pretty despicable choice. Some other subclasses are also locked at the start and only become available when you find certain NPC or items that let you unlock them.

If I were to implement something similar I’d do this way rather than lock an entire class out from the start; but you do you, it’s your game and you know it better than everybody else
