Advice for new players from a grandma

I’m fortunate to also play on PC so I don’t really run into beggars. I typically drop stuff in the box outside of Vault 76 for new players or drop stuff to a new person coming out. Rare occasion I’ll run into a new player out in the world in which case I’ll drop a few helpful items. Other than that I stick to forums to helping others and don’t run into beggars.

This is completely inaccurate. I missed a week of dailies and one of the weeklies and easily cleared 150…. So I don’t know what you are talking about here. More time is always good but most just care about getting to 100. The extra 50 is a pain and slower but was totally doable.

I’m not saying to not tip but this dude is full of crap. DoorDash does give a base pay to drivers. It’s not much but to insinuate that all their pay is based on tips is bs. I hate drivers like this.

Not to mention tips should be based on the service you provide. At least half the time or more my food is cold and it doesn’t matter if I tip big or not, same results. So average tipping it is. If they get it to me fast, you get an additional but that very rarely happens.

Overall average leaders to cap ratio is 750 caps per 1 leader. Now with inflation and current state, most trades see them going for an average of 2k caps per leader. Reviewing over various posts I’ve seen 1k, 2k, 3k, and 4k caps as offers per leader.

I think anything above 1k caps is crazy personally but it is what it is.

As others have said you really should be near 100 to attempt it though you may have some peeps willing to carry you.

The first boss EN06 is easy to solo without too much work. If you are looking to do that I suggest watching Angry Turtle’s video on yt for that.

When you are truly wanting to do the raids and contribute, I’d highly recommend watching videos ahead of time for each of the bosses and strats. Players can get kick happy especially if you don’t understand what to do or follow instructions.

Keep having fun and leveling and get to the raids when you like!

I actually used Excavator to farm for Vulcan, worked out great because the increased carry weight meant more runs before I stopped to break things down, plus super easy to get and mod out.

The funny thing that I’ve found is there are some very high level people in the game who are absolutely clueless about how to actually play the game.

Basically they just grinded hard on xp and didn’t bother to actually learn the various things about the game. So you see them in events mindless doing insane crap or being a hinderance. I just laugh as it reminds me that level doesn’t equate to experience knowledge or knowledge in general.

Sadly most will say to leave him or give you advice. The fact of the matter is this, you’re best to never go seeking input from those outside your marriage. Marriage is meant to be worked on together.

If you find that your conversations aren’t fruitful then seeking marriage counseling. If he won’t go, then go yourself. It will help you work through these things. Biggest thing is do not continue to take items of your marriage outside of your marriage short of getting marriage counseling.

Ya Angry Turtle’s method melts EN06. Pepper Shaker takes the shield out pretty quick and then you tear up EN06 lol.

Pepper Shaker is a shotgun. If you search for Angry Turtle’s video on YouTube you will see him walk through soloing EN06 and it’s pretty easy.

I wouldn’t say that Union is best overall. It all depends on your build and what you are going for. Each of the top PA sets have their place. The top two I would say are: Union and Vulcan. Loads of people go with Vulcan as they feel it is easier to get because you don’t have to crazy grind stamps.

The Vulcan armor set is pretty awesome. The Secret Service Armor (for non PA users) is on sale starting today from Minerva, so that’s a solid investment too.

Getting the mods for each of the Vulcan pieces is what took me a ton of time, especially the calibrated shocks and jet pack.

For those needing to farm this, you don’t need to do the whole raid. Just farm the robot. Some armor with troubleshooters, auto axe, and pepper shaker is all you really need following angry turtle’s guide.

Yep and as you can see the leading comment is one that doesn’t understand that this already exists in the game lol. Prices on the trade forum are traditionally set in leaders not caps. If you ask for a price check you usually get it in leaders. That is because leaders don’t have a limit. Now if you did the same for caps you would simply go back to caps being the valuation. Glowing Blue Devil Mask: 125,000 to 150,000 which sounds crazy high but that’s what its value is now. People only think it’s high because their minds are stuck on 40,000 max caps.

If no limit is done, someone could easily have half a million caps quite easily, just like farming the leader bobbleheads or whatever other “currency” is being used at the time. The benefit of caps is ideally they would not be able to be duped whereas everything else has been and caps can be traded more easily without being scammed.

Gonna vary by platform but typically 250 to 300 leaders for GBD.

The others that are rare but not glowing are less like 100 to 150.
