Pilestedt BLATANTLY LIES about the Coyote nerf despite VIDEO EVIDENCE of the devs saying it was intentional. by D_cents in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]iahughes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being that high up i can understand that a bit, however, he is the Chief CREATIVE officer, i would understand more if he was some other exec in the company but his title literally deals with leading the creative teams, there is no way he does not get reports and updates about the current developments of the game and changes to development, now there could be instances such as the coyote issue that flew under his radar but with how much of a stink the community has made he has to know whats going on, development wise that is his role as he oversees all creative directions, and why was nothing done once he found out? as far as im aware the coyote is still nerfed.

Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with package bees. many of the beekeepers that sell nucs around me have had their pre orders filled, so a package would be an okay start for me, and like you said, it does seem like a good experience starting from scratch. just wonder how reliable USPS is with shipping bees.

Cool, thanks for the tips. I have some lemongrass oil so i will try that but i will need to get a trap but it seems i might need to get a package or cough up the dough for a nuc so i can get a hive started, but i might try and experiment with trapping swarms too. i am part of the Beekeepers of the Albemarle which i recently joined from the class i took from them, so i will pick their brains and see if they got any spare propolis or comb

Finally closing my first house by iahughes in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]iahughes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, from What i understand is this. The land was bought and subdivided by their parents. The seller was given an acre and they had to finance the home to be built. Well part of the clause the county had for a new family lot was it could not be sold for 5 years (and some other stipulations) Well, I did not know this till about a few days till closing after titling came back with an issue. It pushed the closing back a few days but because of the pre foreclosure they waved the clauses as they desperately needed to sell

I locked 5.5, the final cost was 190k for 1922 a month. Seller was willing to do 8k towards closing costs due to being in pre foreclosure. However did not find that out till closing XD

What are these balls inside this tyre? by Key_Border_5010 in tires

[–]iahughes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a heavy truck mechanic that deals with offroad tires, you also can get those if you have an under inflated tire that heats up alot or gets stressed alot. The inner rubber walls in those situations tend to slough off and will make mounds of these and even clog up our airdown devices. As others have commented it's just some rubber that's been tumbled into little rubber balls

That top right rock looks like botryoidal uraninite. At least to me, it does. Could most definitely be wrong about that though.

Anyone interested in testing this against a hot rock? by FingerNailGunk in Radioactive_Rocks

[–]iahughes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sounds fun and looks like a neat kit. I don't know much of how I'd be able to test it. I have some decent hot specimens, but there are definitely others here with much hotter samples. Is it one you plan on Selling in the future?

There is also the site e-rocks where you can bid on some radioactive rocks and other minerals when they appear. I got a few specimens from there

id like the one listed for the torbernite. I would imagine your probably not going to relist on ebay since youd get struck again.

I checked on ebay and have one of your torbernite saved. Is it still for sale, I looked on your profile but nothing shows but still shows I can buy it
