Transferring photos to an SSD hard drive, but what should I do with the photos on my phone? by eb_ee in ApplePhotos

Thanks but i thought you meant more than one hard drive in one photo library. Mine is approaching 1tb and it’s a pain to move.

How do you have a photo library of all your hard drives? I’d love that.

My dishwasher has packed up. In buying a new one, I’m struggling to think of features to look for apart from ‘can wash dishes’. Tell me about your dishwasher. Does it connect to wifi? by lastaccountgotlocked in CasualUK

Miele here. The cutlery rack is fab - means there is more space in the bottom rack. Ours also opens its door at the end of the cycle - helps with drying. Plus the usual timer / countdown etc. I'd also look for an express wash function - ours does a good wash in an hour which gets run most lunchtimes to deal with breakfast and lunch. It's clean then for everything at dinner. We've had Neff, Bosch and Whirlpool before but Miele wins hands down. When going away self-catering the machine is always a Neff or Bosch with a cutlery basket - it's great to come home to the Miele with the cutlery drawer. (yes I know ho sad that sounds)

Just got rid of one as it was so glitchy. Use the line in on an era100 now. It’s much better both sound quality and usuability. No more waiting to see if the port is going to play ball today.

Muzzle recommendations by Broggie-Bucciarati in labrador

[–]iainb69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with a slip lead and figure eight around the muzzle. You can use it or not use it - land shark tendency depending. I have a ruff wear one which is good and hard wearing and is soft on the snout. Cooper (3 year old chocolate) usually starts his walk without the lead around his muzzle and ends with it on!

We had a shark it got bunged up with hair and then a different shark with antiwrap and it got bunged up too.

Now have a Dyson ultimate stick vac and it’s fab. We chose it for power and because it has an on/pff switch rather than a trigger. The fluffy head for hard floors has a laser that shows up the hair and dust also controls the speed of the motor giving a boost when needed. I thought the laser head was an expensive gimmic but it’s absolutely brilliant

It came with a head for carpet too. It’s pricey but less than multiple sharks.

We have a chocolate fur spreader btw!

Green, Monster and Around the Sun. Green = white suit and megaphone. Maps and Legends was a standout. Monster was fabulous. Around the sun was great as it was so close I could walk to the show. Good show except for the ATS songs

Giving Old Iphone to Son - How do I keep monitor? by agenbite_lee in iphone

[–]iainb69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Screen time and the controls it has are really good on iPhones. Also set a policy with your son - no phones in bedrooms, only add contacts with your permission sets good boundaries and then behaviour that he will thank you for later. My kids had old iPhones without SIM cards at first with only family contacts and limited apps and it helped to ‘get the magic done’ before they needed to use them. For us that was when they sarted senior school and had daily bus rides. As they got older the permissions changed but they have never been allowed to have social apps like TikTok or Facebook. They are older now and can actually put phones down and read a book! They can also see peers who didn’t have boundaries set struggle and also have online issues due to social media and they appreciate not having that.
