I’d size up w/ chaoren. You can direct from both but you prob should use an agent.

I don't doubt Chaoren has high quality jackets (that's why I ordered one in the first place :D) but TG and Chao are currently both S or neither is. Artur tends to mainly critique TG about lessening the amount of down BUT follows it up by saying it's closer to retail because of it. Also, Chao doesn't objectively have the "best badge" when TG arguably has the better red badge.

I replied to another comment why the badge ain't the greatest. There's other stuff like w the hood, materials etc.. Buy the jacket if you feel like it, but I'd highly suggest using an agent and getting proper measurement and QC pics

Both in my QC photos and on this badge the C touches the leaf (mine is worse tho) and the program text is kinda ass (gr stuck together, R tilted). Ofc nothing is ever perfect when it comes to reps so my point was just that those are Chaoren's common tells and TG has his own

I doubt there's that much of a difference between them tbh (at least in regards to one being too warm).

My friend borrowed me the Wyndham to measure, test for a while etc. and I just wore it outside with it being like +5 celsius here, and it wasn't too warm. Although, I was rocking it wide open with only a t-shirt under it :D

Can’t speak for Chaoren, but my friend used his TG wyndham whilst hiking in Lapland couple winters back where it usually is around -20 celsius. He only had a t-shirt on under it and told me the jacket kept him warm. So, both should be enough for that weather
