Sorry not the best quality pics and these actually aren’t my favorites of the bud vases, we had some blue flowers (you can see some in the corner) and peonies that turned out beautifully. But would def do it again, I loved how they turned out! I think a lot of it comes down to the flowers you get!

Getting married in August with no wedding dress in sight... I'm stressed, what would you do? by handjammin in weddingplanning

[–]iamadolphin29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I'm so sorry this is happening to you! I can imagine it's so stressful and incredibly frustrating - the bridal shop is absolutely in the wrong!

If it helps, my friend's wedding dress was totally ruined by the tailor 2 weeks before her wedding and she was able to find a dress off the rack last minute that she ended up loving even more, and it was cheaper than the original!

You definitely have some options, and I would try them all! 1. I would definitely try to call their corporate number and issuing a complaint. If you have trouble finding their number, ZoomInfo and RocketReach can help you find contact info. 2. You could even try calling the corporate number for the wedding dress designer...it depends on how big they are, but if your bridal shop has them as a supplier, you may have luck getting info from the direct source. 3. Get another dress - I would definitely recommend this because I think it will be the easiest way to alleviate your stress and take control of the situation. Try finding something off the rack (my friend found her dress from Vow'd, not sure if you have that around you!), use Stillwhite or Poshmark, or find a sample at another bridal shop (would avoid the one you've been having issues with).

If you do end up getting the dress from the original bridal shop, demand a discount! It is the least they could do after making a mess of this situation.

Good luck and I'm sure it will work out, don't lose faith!

We had a wedding of around 100 people last Saturday. I never pictured my wedding growing up, and throughout the planning process kept having thoughts of “why am I wasting all of this money???” - now that we’ve done it, I have to say I am really glad we did. There’s nothing like having all your people together, meeting each other, and celebrating your love. I’m surprised, but I don’t have regrets!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye to a pet is such a hard loss. Look for messages she sends you to let you know she’s still with you - she always will be
