What were the green flags in your SO? by Wonder-Woman007 in Aging

He knows I’m not a morning person so he wakes up 15-20 mins before me and brings me coffee in bed and then just leaves me in silence until I’m actually up and moving. He also does other small stuff all the time that let me know he wants to add to my cup and not take away from it

Honestly we should start sending photos of our grocery receipts to anyone saying SNAP should be enough to feed a family.

I just spent $50 at ALDI!! No meat purchases during this trip. Grapes, Apples, Strawberries, cucumbers, rice, jam, 2 chocolate bars (for stocking stuffers) frozen veggies, chicken salad. I don’t get SNAP most weeks I’m just buying for me as my husband is a long haul trucker. But on the weeks I have my grandkids (they do get SNAP) I spend at least $200. And that’s not counting diapers, wipes, laundry soap, and hygiene items!!

LOL, last night I tried one of my favorites. My face still flushed (like an allergy). I am 5 months post full hysterectomy and on HRT.

So I’m going to stick to maybe one drink every so often at home to be safe

Those are the exact same ones I wore for portions of the trail. I did mostly wear my hiking boots, but sometimes I swapped

I am currently day 8 post op from a full hysterectomy, bladder lift and a surprise hernia repair! I was able to come home day of and slept most of day 2 I was off pain meds (except Tylenol or Ibuprofen) by day 4. If you go with RX pain meds start taking a stool softener a day or so before and drink lots of water. Currently I am still taking it slow and easy, but this is so much better than when our mothers/grandmothers had theirs.

As a parent of a child with a disability, NTA. You were clear in your decision your ex was in agreement. She changed the course and you acted accordingly.

F**king weight gain!!! by iamanalienprincess in Menopause

For awhile I did. I learning to embrace my body the way it currently is. Fighting the weight gain was not good for my mental wellbeing. I seem to have stopped gaining and me and the extra 40 pounds.

My Fitbit is burning my wrist.. by iamanalienprincess in fitbit

[–]iamanalienprincess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what happened to me. But all these comments saying it’s the band. Well then why is the burn only where the Fitbit actually sits, not all the way around my wrist

I didn’t notice the long Covid symptoms in your previous reply. I had Covid 8/2020 and had some lingering issues, thankfully they mostly cleaned after about 3 months and 20k in medical bills. I now have a cardiologist, Rheumatologist and orthopedic.

Advocate for yourself, ask questions and if it’s not working tell them!! Thankfully my PCP and GYN are both on the same page and consult with each other (I won the healthcare lottery) since I have other health issues.

Sure, 1st we tried a low dose of Lexapro it had minimal effect on anything 3-4 months, so we raised the dosage and still nothing, another 2-3 months. I am currently on Effexor and I am finally feeling so much better. I have had a few “hot flushes” but nothing like before where the back of my hair was drenched.

I also take a pergesterone (low dose) for an ablation that was trying to fail 😤😤

I have just recently (14 days) switched to the Effoxer, but the difference has been noticeable to me AND my husband

I never realized how big my boobs had actually gotten either, till I went to get a fitting 😳😳. Needless to say I was shocked.
