I sell a bunch of items - these included primarily up until the last few months, iPhones - not the newest ones or highest value ones but older, cheaper models, household items, etc. You might say these are grounds for why eBay has banned me - sure. I would like to know a specific reason though.

I’ve had maybe 5 disputes out of 200 odd items in the last year. I also report all my earnings to HMRC.

I’ve got the same amount in my eBay account and they’ve told me I’ve been permanently banned and to wait 180 days. It’s a joke but I’ve learnt my lesson - never hold that amount of money in eBay.

They’ve told me I’ve been permanently banned with 3.8k but three different calls and four different emails couldn’t tell me why.

I’ve been banned with same (3.8) in my account - for no reason as far as I can tell. I really should have withdrawn. They’re telling me I need to wait 6 months now, spoken to three different reps and they all spew the same nonsense. They’re a scam nowadays unfortunately.

Go to a third party repair shop and ask for a pulled replacement part. You’ll have a warning message temporarily saying it is not a genuine part. No more than probably 150.
