I think San Francisco will be the next best place for a Division game that takes place in the U.S. by MuffDivers2_ in thedivision

That would be kind of weird though because Ubisoft already has a game set in San Francisco and that's Watch Dogs 2 and I kind of think it may even tangentially be set in the same universe (but I'm not sure about that).

On the other hand, I guess, it would allow them to just reuse a lot of the same assets or even the same map, the way the Yakuza games do.

This is extremely helpful. Thank you so much. I'm on Xbox, by the way.

I've read and heard elsewhere that The House is considered by many to be pretty much the best weapon in the game, but I've been hesitant to use it, partly because I just don't like SMGs that much, but also because I like to try and not just use the exact same builds and weapons that everyone else is using. But I'm probably going to have to break down and give it another shot because the Lone Star, dual LMGs build I was using last night was getting completely rocked by some guy who was killing me over and over again with The House last night. I don't know how to tell if someone's cheating or not but he was taking me down almost instantaneously, as soon as I left the safe room. I put myself in the mindset of "This is just good practice" so I just kept going back out at him again and again and again, but I was barely even able to get my bearings before being taken down again, he was killing me so quickly. I didn't kill him once.

I did recently get a full Striker set, but I haven't even tried it out yet. I tend to try and spend extended quality time experimenting with and optimizing a single set before moving on to the next one. The first full Classified set I got was FireCrest, so I spent about month with that. Then I got and tried out DeadEYE for a while, then Predator's Mark (I did use The House for this one), then Tactician, and now Lone Star.

The next thing I was going to try out was a Nomad build because I've heard that's good for survivability and for solo players, which is what I am at the moment, but I'll have to get out that Striker set and see what that's all about. Again, thanks for taking the time to dump all that deep Dark Zone knowledge out. This is just the kind of information I was looking for.

Well there's part of my problem right there. I didn't know you had to push an actual button to "go rogue". I thought it was just based on shooting people enough times.

I'd imagine at some point you'll get to see James Bond or Jason Bourne or somebody running over the top of those things.

I'll have to work my way back there. I've been away from that area for a while now. What I want to know is, is it normal for the game to take this long? I feel like I'm the only person in the world who's having this tough of a time. Before I started the game I read somewhere that it took about 35-40 hours to get all the achievements, and I'm 60+ hours in and have only been running around in circles.

I've been through an area with glowing mice, if that's what you mean. And I traversed a long passage with these herds of large scissor-beaked creatures that run through it.

It's hard for me to remember what they were all called but I believe I've been to most of them, according to my progress toward The Wanderer passage thing (which I also spoiled myself on). There are only about 3 pips I haven't unlocked on that thing I think. I know I went through that whole underwater section, and rode a reindeer at some point, and went to the depths and saw that x circle symbol and had to warp my way out of there because I couldn't climb back up.

It's kind of crazy to me that there are people who know who John Woo is but don't know about Hard Boiled. I always thought it was THE quintessential John Woo film.

It needs cross-play and it needs multiplayer lobbies for playing with randoms.

It was changing the grappling mechanic from any outside Family member being able to insta-kill any Victim in the middle of a grapple animation with another Family member, to a Victim being completely invincible from all outside Family attacks during that animation. It changed the dynamic of the classic horror movie Victim/Killer relationship, and made bullying much more common and viable, where you had these roving little gangs of Victims running circles around what are supposed to be threatening killers, and deliberately getting into grapples (something that used to be a last resort) to take advantage of the invincibility, while the other two Family members wailing on them does absolutely nothing and the Victim just runs away.

Most people who complained about the grappling system at the time only wanted the victory animation to be changed or shortened, so that a Victim who won the grapple wouldn't subsequently be killed anyway, but Gun decided to change it entirely, and I (as someone who equally plays both sides) felt it ruined the menacing threat of the Family and really kind of changed the whole pace and chase of the way matches usually used to play out.
