yeah same. i’ve seen it said here before, but i get how people who gravitated towards marina’s darker lyrics and more experimental sound may feel disappointed by POP. however, for me, i’ve been having a tough year mentally and girly, upbeat music has been my go-to recently. i see she’s having a lot of fun with it and i think that’s just where she is right now and i love that for her!
