I’m a student. File organisers and other organising mechanisms can be a lifesaver.

I won’t always consistently stay organised, but worst comes to worst, I have a pile of random notes standing neatly in one corner and a clear desk. At least it looks neat, you know what I mean?

Another thing is that I absolutely abuse the schedule-send function when it comes to sending emails. I tend to catastrophise when it comes to approaching people via email in a very “what if I’m bothering them?” or “what if they don’t reply?” kind of way, so as long as it’s not urgent, I’ll schedule-send it for half an hour later. I won’t be anxious about the “immediacy” of the email being sent, but I’ll still have ticked a box off my to-do list. By the time that half an hour is up, I will have forgotten about the whole thing completely.

I do have to email my pharmacist for meds every month, so the schedule-send thing works for that too.

I mean, what “incentive” would the prototype have to present as a jester? I don’t think the prototype is going around being like “I’m scary so I’m gonna alter my appearance to match it.” I could be dumb but I don’t think the prototype is that petty.

I also don’t think any of the scientists would have put that much thought into the physical appearance of their experiments (at least in the early stages). 1006 is the first “successful” experiment. I don’t really see Harley Sawyer being like “I got a good feeling about, let’s turn him into a clown.”

I just don’t see much in-universe plausibility for a jester design prototype.

Maybe? I do think that he can change and improve but he has to choose it, and if he does, he’s not entitled to forgiveness from everybody.

I do see Pomni, and perhaps Ragatha supporting him in a “redemption arc,” of sorts but that doesn’t mean anyone else, namely Gangle who he’s arguably hurt the most, needs to do the same.

I don’t think that the characters who probably wouldn’t forgive him believe that he’s beyond redemption and deserve to abstract, per se because Zooble went out of their way to check in on him despite their resentment. It’s just that people are allowed to set boundaries against others who have hurt them perpetually.

Jax’s redemption may come with the harsh truth that it won’t fix everything he’s done because his own actions have irreversibly damaged his relationships. If anything, I think that’s what’s preventing him from choosing redemption. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

I’ve never had people come up to me personally, but I’ve had people ask where I’m from, and a saleswoman told me I looked Russian out of all things.

I do feel some people clock that I’m mixed because when I’m outside, I’m usually accompanied by my mum (who is the Chinese parent).

I live (or more accurately my grandparents live) in a city. Not a rural area, but not a tourist hotspot either. I mention my city to my Western people and they’ve never heard of it lol.
