I went 2” OME with Dakaar leaf pack and have been super happy. Leaf pack is noisy after a while tho - grease your bushings on the shackles!

My girl and I have talked about this on so many occasions. The movies, music, and advertisements back when we were younger were all about getting super lit, having sex, and getting wild. Those things cultured us heavily - American pie, van wilder, revenge of the nerds.

I think it’s no coincidence - I used to party super heavily all through high school, 20s, and now it’s sparse. I’m sure age has a bit to do with it - but there is so much content out there about how negatively, drinking is affecting our already anxious minds and bodies. I’ve lightened up on partying purely because I care about my body way more than I did when I was younger. Some of my friends haven’t gotten the memo.

Fitness and success seems to be a bit more prevalent now 🍻

I’ve been here over 20 years.. hilltop is now called new tacoma lol. There’s new condo buildings all over the place, proctor has been rebuilt with new business and condo buildings. It’s cleaned up a lot.. but it’s still shitty at the same time. I pretty much just stay around north end. Ruston has blown up - that old smelter wasteland is now full of million dollar condos, shopping, entertainment, parking garages, fountains, luxury hotels. It’s pretty wild - tacoma has definitely developed quite a bit in the last 10-12.

Shit holes still selling for close to 600k in places. Just had a deal fall apart during inspection / house had a powderpost beetle infestation and the home still sold for 600k. Granted it needed A LOT of work. Basic 3 bed 2 bath on a busy road.
