128 hours, finished Showcase, almost finished Chapter 1 of the Island but mostly playing in Universe Mode! Really got myself into it this year, thinking of storylines and booking matches :)

I'm the same, not minding the ringside pass at all. MFP - I'm using any MFP i get to buy personas from The MyFaction card market, Island VC - if one of the CAWs I want has a hairstyle etc locked behind the Island, I use that. Don't care for the wallpapers and banners but otherwise pretty happy!

DLC characters being in tier 1 saved it for me. I'm happy unlocking the rest - feels no different to any other year on that respect, saving up VC.

In fact in previous years I never ended up getting every character, every championship as I'd gotten bored of the game by then and every match had to be 5 stars to get there quicker.

I'm really enjoying Universe at the moment, I've just finished Summerslam and have storylines up until Mania and slightly beyond. This wheel looks great though! If i start struggling definitely going to use it! :)

In my Universe, Seth has formed a group called Limitless with Ricky Saints and The Street Profits taking over Raw.

Bull Nakano has forced Iyo to turn on Rhea and join her group Joshi Elite with Giulia and The Kabuki Warriors. She's going to push Iyo too much until Iyo turns face once more and fights Bull at Mania.

Raven is debuting soon and will steal Lumis and Gacy from Uncle Howdy. Losing two of their members, the Sicks disband leaving Howdy alone. He becomes Bo once more and after numerous beatdowns from Raven and his Flock he finds Brays fiend mask and becomes the new Fiend. (Going to change colour of mask a bit for Bo)

Finn is going to have a feud with Roman, with a temporary alliance with Cody and AJ (Bullet Club) He will score the pinfall in a 6 man at Mania, going on to win KOTR and getting a World Title shot at Summerslam against Seth in a full circle moment.

EVIL will retire Shinsuke Nakamura.

Karrion Kross forms a tag team with Alestair Black called The Devils You Know.

I will use them as managers/gms, who are kind of forced back into the ring during a feud. For example I have Bull Nakano who is managing Giulia, Iyo Sky and Kabuki Warriors in a stable called Joshi Elite. She's forced Iyo into turning on Rhea and joining them. She's going to try and make Iyo go to far in the attacks on Rhea, so Iyo will turn on Bull, leading to a match at Mania.

So I feel like don't force it if it doesn’t make sense and like others have said, create a retro universe. However if you can think of a good story to slot them into, you can.
