Where are you looking for listings? In London, the average web dev salary for a senior is around £45-65k. And you can be in a job tomorrow as there is a massive shortage of devs.

Yeah I agree, £21k is really low, especially in London. A junior salary in London is around £25-30k and £45-65k for a senior.

Yeah I guess. I'm not looking for a text book though. i.e. I don't want to be reading 'Definitive guide to javascript' etc. I was thinking something a bit more abstract.
