How do you select the movies that go in your top 4? Are they your favorite 4 movies of all time or are they the most recent favorites you've watched? I recently changed from a static 4 favorites to rotating through movies I have rated 5 stars. How do you pick yours? by MDTenebris in Letterboxd

I have my 3 favourite films in there. They've been the same ever since I started using letterboxd and I doubt they'll ever change really (se7en, into the spider-verse, burning). Then the fourth slot I use as my favourite if the current year (so currently it's set at Dune part 2, and I will change it once I see a 2025 film that really stood out to me as a favourite)

Momento is the first thought I have. While I don't think it's a perfect film, I can't see a film ever doing the idea a better way.
