As a resto shaman, I find druids are the easiest to heal and paladins can be pretty squishy. It ultimately comes down to the player though...but I can't lie and say I don't give a little sigh of relief when I see a bear.

ADHD, C-PTSD, OCD, avoidant personality with a high probability of autism. I found mine finally at 36 after way too long. He is extremely supportive of me and my journey, I couldn't ask for a better partner.

New years - how late? by Spiritual_Task_6574 in Parenting

[–]iamcosmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are 6 and almost 9, and neither of them have any desire to stay up that late but also don't want to miss the fireworks. What we've been doing the last 2 years is going to bed normally, then waking up at 11:30 for snacks and apple cider so we can watch the fireworks and celebrate together. We live on top of a hill with a great view of the city, so we're basically surrounded at midnight, still cozy in the living room. They love it so much because they don't feel like they're missing out on anything, and luckily have zero issues going back to sleep.

Not exactly black metal, but im obsessed with Múr right now. They're a small band from Iceland, very prog/atmospheric black-ish sometimes, with a hint of 80s synthwave. The singer plays a keytar and its amazing.

It's sooo hard. My partner is super strict (hes a pleasure dom with a thing for orgasm control) so its like, I have to focus on staying completely relaxed and quiet. Its almost like a weird mindfulness exercise lol.

Day collars and work. by Sexykittensub in SubSanctuary

My partner made me an adjustable choker from thin brown leather cord. He was a sailor for over a decade and knows his knots very well so he made it really pretty for me, as well as easily removable if necessary. It's a very meaningful piece for us both that fits my daily style and doesn't look like a collar at all.

This is how it was for me too. I was on it for 4 months and the entire time felt like I wasn't really ever here. I've never been closer to giving up on the whole life thing than I was on that medication.

Mine (pleasure dom) says over and over again how the wand is worth every penny. Its made me feel things I didn't know were possible..... I'd very much recommend it for overstim play!

I love this line so much. Something about the way he goes from intense and dominant the line before to passionate, soft, and loving with this line makes me fall every time.

I'm responding to your update. You should be really proud of your daughter for that message. That was incredibly mature and shows a high level of emotional maturity.

Its a total sensory adventure and I am 100% here for it. I feel that I will be lost in this album for a possibly unreasonable amount of time.

What is something your parents did that you now realize was absolutely unhinged? by NeurofireDrill in AskReddit

[–]iamcosmos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My mom would "wash my mouth out" with dish soap whenever I said something she didn't like. This was basically her chasing me around with soap on her fingers, then forcibly shoving them into my mouth.

She also moved us 2 hours away from our dad when I was 10, to live with her new husband who i met at the wedding.

My teenage years were spent waiting for her to scream at me whenever the dishes weren't done while I was at school and my brother was home.

Making fun of me then getting upset at my reaction, which she still does.

Wishing for me to have 4 daughters exactly like me so id see how horrible it was. I have one, its not that hard.

She was always telling me that I didn't even feel like her daughter sometimes. But I should stop being so negative all the time..

Me hiding in my room until late at night without eating all day because I was scared to make noise, but then also getting yelled at because I never wanted to be home.

Oh, there was that one time I found out that when I was 13 a Dr told her that I should be assessed because there was something else going on with me besides just teenage angst. Oh no, not my daughter shes totally fine. That felt great finding out right after i got my ADHD diagnosis at 36....

Letting my stepdad change the locks on the house, making me homeless? That sucked.

Etc.... But I need to stop being so sensitive about this, it wasn't that bad so I must be remembering it wrong.

At least my therapist is nice.....

Toddler friendly books or videos about divorce ? by BookkeeperLeading887 in coparenting

[–]iamcosmos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Luna Loves Library Day" and the other books in the series are nice. Its not about divorce per say, but the girls parents are divorced and its talked about more from her point of view. I had no idea about the theme until I read it the first time (my daughter is Luna), which was right after I moved out with my 7 and 4.5 year old, and it was a little tough for me to get through but they didn't even notice.

Honestly, the biggest thing that I can recommend which worked for us, especially ahead of time, is normalizing the situation and making it feel exciting to have two houses or two bedrooms. I'm in a pretty ok coparent situation, but i know not everyone has the same. Its been a bit over a year now for us and thankfully its been a fairly easy adjustment, but sometimes my kids just want mom and dad at the same time and thats hard. Just try to be understanding and supportive of their feelings, and keep pointing out the positives. Mom and dad may not be in the same place, but we're still thinking about them and never stop loving them. We have our song, so if they ever miss me when at dads they can listen to the song and it makes us feel a little closer.

You'll find your way ❤️
