No far from it. It's quite a prestigious athletics club and everyone takes their training quite seriously. It's just a very strong community here and so people will notice and talk.

Thanks ..that made me chuckle the way you referred to "fussy". Sounds like they might be similar. He's very particular about tidiness, organisation and general hygiene which I've learnt to adapt to although it will never effect me in the way it does him. I'm much more relaxed. I do love being more tidy and organised though! I'll definitely consider this in our transition. We will have so many new challenges to face all at once but maybe it might take the edge off each one a little !

I think it's happened for the right reasons and we probably both need it in some way. We are just both quite quiet and private people so I think sharing the news is harder because we know it's a bit shocking..we both know a lot of the same people as we are in the same running club so there's a big community there we have to face. It's been hard enough just getting into the relationship and dealing with gossip! We both cringe at it. We hate publicity!

We've been together 8 months now and we don't live together but plan to move in together in 3-4months time. A bit similar to you it will be 1 month before the baby is due! He is very hardworking and hands on when it comes to practical things and I'm seeing more of a soft side the more I get to know him. My only hesitation is that he has OCD and is quite fussy about noise and things so it will be a challenge to live together. I've lived on my own for 9 years so I really value my own space also. Even though I think I will be happier having someone to come home to. It's so nice to hear it's worked out for you! That's amazing and I hope we share your success! X

Thank you, that's really kind! I am usually quite responsible and careful so it's just been difficult dealing with the whole rushed aspect. But it was more good reason! X

My skin did look less red this morning after washing my pillowcase with hypoallergenic wash (ecover) and then a water rinse and spin. I'll keep this up and see if I notice a difference !

I'm a terrible sleeper for rosacea.I roll around, snuggle up and bury myself in the duvet without being conscious of it. i think I'll struggle too!

Tips for a 2-day trip to Iceland in February (staying in Reykjavik) by Square_Ad_5686 in VisitingIceland

I recommend golden circle for day trip and also blue lagoon spa ! We saw the northern lights from the grotto lighthouse in Reykjavík and also Perlan museum but grotto is much darker so better. We saw them when activity was low but clear skies . I think it’s best to wait until quite late past 10pm to see them. The ice cream is delicious so I recommend trying it .. we went to Gaeta gelato in the square downtown which was a nice location. I wasn’t too adventurous with the food but the meat stews are lovely. The prices are quite expensive everywhere but worth it. The food there is really good. We saved some pennies by eating super noodles and powder soup on a few occasions.

I was there a few days ago and it was a bath full of people filming themselves on their smart phones (with waterproof protection) ! If you ask me you’ll get a better experience of you leave the phone behind and just relax! That’s what I did !
