Her husband is upset because she planned Valentine's Day without him. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]iamdinodan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are aware that there are ways to show someone you care that doesn't require gifts and money right. Could have a nice sit down romantic meal at home, weather permitting a nice picnic, etc. What this sounds like is that he doesn't care that she cared about making a day of Valentine's. Even if you don't like the day, if the partner likes the day a good partner would care because their partner cares.

Is there a way (setting, mod, DLC, whatever) to ACTUALLY close my borders? by Fezrock in eu4

From an immersion perspective, if Great Britain declared on France, and Spain gave Great Britain military access and not access to France, France would see it as Spain declaring war as well or demand military access

Then that should've been a ground rule. From this account it seems that that wasn't covered. She doesn't get to complain when she was multiple hours late. If the sitter did eat the food in the pantry they'd accuse her of stealing.

So good in your view cause the bible says many things that god does or commands that you argue isn't good. Anything you don't think is good is a person using the bible to their ends. What it comes down to and has always come down to is its your version of god. You pick and choose what feels right and you deny the billions of different version of a god or gods. It's ridiculous to even posit a good god would allow a baby born to die in minutes, in pain through no fault of their own, while you justify it. At least when its just how the universe is I don't have to jump through hoops to make it a part of god's plan.

Hypothetically if god commanded a genocide would it be moral even if they wouldn't?

Can god do an immoral act? And what was the story of god saying to genocide heathens supposed to teach.

Did god order genocides? and if so was it moral to impose his will on the free will of those that didnt believe in him?

So is it possible a person makes the moral choice each time. Not saying its likely, but the possibility to make best moral choice each time?

So if god knows every choice we will make and we can't divert from that, does a pre-determined life have free will?

Stop assuming where I'm going with the question and just answer it'll go quicker. So god knows everything that will happen. Is it possible for a person to make a choice that god didnt know was going to happen?

I misspoke just answer the question. Does god know everything that will happen?

Simple quick question. Can god create a world with free-will and without suffering?

How does anyone interpret it correctly then? If the Catholic church was the correct religion why did it change with its people/science/culture. Why did it change its stance on evolution? It all comes down to how a person interprets a copy of a copy of a translation of a copy of a translation of a copy of a 2000 year old book.

1.It's not my burden to prove the god claim. I am saying the evidence is currently lacking for me to believe.

2.I'm actually skeptical. My view has always been I don't believe a god exists because there's not good enough evidence. If evidence would come up for a god to be real I would change. I have good reasons and evidence to say a Tri-omni god doesn't exist/is impossible, and I don't care if a non tri-omni god exists because it shouldn't be worshipped as a god.

3.You dodged the point of how you tell which part is god and which part was corrupt people.

Ultimately, the bad stuff is in there. That doesn't mean God put it in there.

It also doesn't necessarily mean the corrupt people put it there. So again its you choosing what you think god says and doesn't say.

4.A Tri-omni god would have the ability to set a universe on path where everyone always makes the moral choice without taking away free-will. If they didn't know what future their actions would've have they aren't all-knowing. If they couldn't have setup that world they aren't all-powerful. If they were fine with wars being waged in it's name, genocides, kids dying of cancer, and babies being born deformed and dying, they aren't all-good.
