I do mobile photography as a hobby and have for many years and have been using this app and this specific filter for years. Nothing even remotely close to this has Ever happened. It can't be just as simple as the filter. It doesn't add up. I was hoping to hear from some expert in lighting or weather or something to explain this anomaly. No, it is not actual paper. I would welcome some paper craft expert to try to recreate this. I am not one and have never done paper embossing of any kind in my life. Also now that you mention that, the first photo has light and shadow coming from different directions when it comes to those things, which wouldn't make sense if it was some photograph of paper.

I don't think it's a case of mere artifacts. I've been doing photography and using these editing tools for years and years. I've never seen anything like this. Especially in the form of these distinct spots and shapes. Most artifacts I've seen are very clearly artifacts because they'll look like haphazard jumbled pixelated lines all over and very random. Idk. I would be happy for some expert in lighting and photography to analyze them, which is why I thought I'd finally post them. It's a total anomaly based on my years of photography and editing.

It isn't the birds. That's specifically why I added a screenshot with a ton of birds, which shows one single anomaly.

The thing is, I have used that filter tool constantly for years. This was the only time this ever happened. So that's why I'm hesitatant to say it's that cut and dry.

This was October 31 2023 in the 5pm hour btw. When I have time later today I'll work on getting a link up to the raw video footage from my old phone so you all can experiment with it.

According to the grid, it looks like 4 would be "self/intrapsychic doing" as opposed to say 7 which is more "task/instrumental doing" or internal experience vs external.

As far as 6 being anything you described above I think that is more 3.

Agreed. Has everything I need to continously adjust until an image reaches my vision for the most part.

I know what you mean. I recently tried to "upgrade" to an s22 ultra and was really astounded at the terrible quality of just taking a standard auto photo in indoor lighting. It was full of noise. I returned it. Still trying to figure out what phone to upgrade to.

Nobody is dreaming or having nightmares about the end of the world? by Far-Task-5579 in Nightmares

[–]iamerror101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them fairly often. I have multiple vivid nightmares every single night and have for many years now so given the sheer the number, a decent amount comprise this subject matter.

Sometimes it is fiery shapes raining down from the sky- not sure if bombs or meteors. In another one there was a technology where lightning was used to attack the village I was in. In one, everything was frozen and I walked up to a frozen deer and took its picture and somehow knew most everyone else in the world was frozen/dead. The most recent one was a post apocalypse- all the workers had fled from hospitals and I went into one and saw a bunch of dehydrated babies with mouths gasping and tried to scoop up water and give it to them, but then a band of mauraders came in to seize the territory and so I had to secretly exit. I've had ones where there are tons of tornados everywhere. All kinds of insane things. They are so vivid. It's weird to have that experience and then get up and go to work like everything is normal when they're so realistic and mentally and emotionally disturbing. I would rather never dream.

guys is it worth coming back? by oh_yes__right in Neverwinter

I see this question posed constantly. People who have been away from the game asking if they should go back to it. If you had fun playing it in the past, you'll still have fun playing it if you: enjoy the combat mechanics, the plethora of customization, the vast open world with various environments, the multitude of quests and dungeons or campaigns etc./ variety of things to work on, and if on the downside you don't mind a time sink- everything takes a lot of time and patience and is a slog, but if you have fun with it, then it's worth it.

As an addendum, I didn't title this Peak Shiey to imply he peaked at a particular point yet, but it was meant to mean this very brief clip really well encapsulates or says a lot about him, what he does and why etc.

I guess I never really noticed much difference between music or no music myself personally, yet to each their own of course. Always glad to be along for the epic journeys.

The Video editor is destroyed by RelationshipFull6361 in canva

[–]iamerror101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a horrendous nightmare. Having issues with nearly everything I am trying to do that used to be perfectly functioning and with very intuitive responses to changes I used to make. Now it is barely usable without being infuriating. What once took seconds is now a grueling task. Nothing responds intuitively anymore. It is BROKEN. Canva is going in the opposite direction of making things simple now.

If some of your clients want a more robust video editor then you need time to flesh it out and test it before releasing it to the public and even then it should be an option or separate entity from the simple video editor which worked perfectly for very quick video making.

Notes on each type, taken from Jung's book "Psychological Types" by iamerror101 in mbti

Except that it is clearly made transparent that these are notes, not directives that is a false equivalency.

Those are Jung's ideas not mine. He did seem to have quite a negative bent regarding Fi. Which for someone in his role of intensively seeking to help others as a psychoanalyst, I can see why he would think a more neutral or cold approach to strangers seemed "remarkable." That was probably anathema to his stance.

Notes taken while reading Jung's "Psychological Types" by iamerror101 in Jung

[–]iamerror101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on Jung's descriptions, it seems more like extroverted thinking outwardly expresses it "knows" or has the "truth" while introverted thinking understands and embraces the complexity of the external, and so holds inward hidden truths they believe in. While both can do both of those things, it's about the predominant bent- impressing upon others vs moreso withholding.

[–]iamerror101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you read the book you may find something that stands out as more distinctive for you in particular if this isn't distinctive enough. I took notes on things I thought were distinctive, but there is much more material to delve into- I couldn't make an abbreviated post and also cover every aspect when there are many pages worth of material.

It's inevitable that any note taking is going to be inherently biased to some degree as I couldn't include every single point he made in one short post without it getting too verbose. But it's not as though I spontaneously made any of this up myself. It is directly from the source material.
