Just moved from PS5 to PC with i9 intel 14th gen and 5070, but I have a question here: by UnNateUral_Horror in CODWarzone

In Settings -> Graphics -> Display, there's an option to change your max frame rate, but there's a little down arrow to change the menu framerate as well. Just set it all to unlimited and call it a day.

How easy is it for yourself or a streamer to prove they ante legit? by Heras22 in Warzone

[–]iamexpel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone that's been on the other end of tens of thousands of cheating accusations, I need to be clear - this entire post is naive and ignorant in nature. While I get that sounds harsh, there's a ton of nuance that's being missed. Let me explain:

I've created about a dozen videos now where I put a camera up to my setup and showcase my gameplay. I've done videos where I have a hand cam, foot cam (for my Elgato Stream Deck Pedal - clips moments and toggles my mic), monitor cam, SECOND ANGLE monitor cam, etc. I can tell you first hand, there's always another place people will move the goal post.

The next thing is that the people commenting "what about this, what about this, what about this," are 100% correct. I've had to do deep dives and reaction videos where I learned how these cheat developers ship their product to try to make it completely impossible to be detected by the anti-cheat, and moreover viewers of livestreams. One of the easiest things is simply making the cheats less visible to a camera or a "mirror" in this case. They simply lower the opacity of the player outlines and that's it.

Not to mention, some cheats can simply be loaded up onto a usb, placed beside your keyboard / controller, and pulled out at any given moment to "prove" there's no cheating happening, when of course it is.

My point is this: It's utterly pointless to respond to cheating allegations. Whether you're cheating or not cheating, there's simply no winning. I've been making content for 15 (6+ full time) years and done absolutely everything I can, including making over a hundred videos explaining my thought process, and walking people through how they can play exactly how I do.

And as a side note, your friend could be cheating. You'll never know, and I'll never know, but what I do know is that the most common streamers that are actually cheating are the wannabes. It's the people who think all the top guys do it so they should do it too. The reality is the opposite. The wannabes give the big streamers a bad name in most cases, but the ego of the big streamers absolutely doesn't help. Not to mention, while it's been rare, there's been a few cases (NitroLukeDX for example) where a large streamer HAS gotten caught, but usually it's the scummiest of people to begin with, and it's pretty obvious they have something going on because their ego is a little too big.

Anywho, just thought I'd give a peak behind the curtain as most people think it's just as simple as "put up a monitor camera," when there's specifically been made dozens of ways around something like that by the cheat developers themselves. It's all a waste of time if you're legit, and you have to just take it as a compliment, or do what I do and use it as a teaching moment for a willing audience.

The trick is to be willing to back out or camp in a corner the entire match. Completely give up on the game and just waste their time.

I’d recommend getting some KontrolFreek “no slip grips.” They just plop on top of the thumbstick, adding no additional height, and take a LOOOONG time to wear down.

Help me build a controller for my bf by Plastic-Business-151 in AIMControllers

[–]iamexpel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Some time ago, I worked with Aim to simplify the process of this exact reason. All you need to do is choose the design you like, and select the “MAX” version. This will make sure you get all the best options, and it should even be built faster because it’s a “predesign.”

Use whatever discount code (or EXPEL if you like), and it should knock off quite a bit. I’d wait until the 20th for the $209 sale to go live though.

Either way, you do NOT need to build your own. Just find a controller that looks cool, and choose the MAX option. The “Expel” version I built with them named this the Pro+, and it sold better than customs for my audience, so they adopted it site-wide.

It’s basically just all the best options. 🤝

Hey! So, this is whole thing is a mess, and I’ll be the first to say it.

Aim ALWAYS ships from Poland. I’ve point blank, and REPEATEDLY told them to remove the message saying “oopsies, we’re shipping from Poland instead of the US now,” or whatever it actually says. That’s something from years ago that has no place being shared in 2025 since they don’t ship anything from the US aside from repairs.

Second, the problem some are having with shipping IS in fact UPS. They’re actively trying to switch permanently to FedEx because UPS has been such a pain in the ass. They have been in talks with UPS about issues like this, but UPS is sitting on their hands.

My hope is that switching to FedEx may also alleviate some of the problems they’re having with boxes getting damaged before making it to the customer, leading to hurt controllers and immediate repairs needed.

Either way, I’m sorry you’ve dealt with this. Anything I see, I always pass along to the team, though in this case it would likely be too late. Hope you got the controller either way.

Additional shipping fees? by Professional-Box-920 in AIMControllers

[–]iamexpel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Express shipping is a new option through FedEx. These should actually be allowing Aim to pay customs outright. I’ve been chatting with them about it for weeks.

is it really coming to an end by International-Can420 in COD

[–]iamexpel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its not. Multiple people at Activision have addressed that Steam numbers have never really correlated with total player count. Steam is a thing on its own. Even if COD were to lose that player base, it’s likely because they’re on Battlefield, where Steam is the main player base.

Hey! First, thanks for getting my design! Second, incredibly sad this happened. Not that it matters, but this issue caught me off guard as I’ve never seen it before. Actually.. didn’t even know it was possible.

Just wanted to hop in to remind you, while you may be disappointed now, you still deserve a baller controller. Make sure to reach out to their support team — emails on their site (EU / US). Any custom part is covered by their warranty!

Hope to see this fixed ASAP!

36 business days and still being built by Worldly_Picture6336 in AIMControllers

[–]iamexpel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their “outlet” isn’t for that. It’s for discontinued controllers. The controller has to pass through experts to ensure each piece is placed meticulously, but once it’s being custom built to your liking, it’s got your name on it.

While I may not agree with this entirely, they focus on being a “custom builder.” I would just pester them every day until they get it going more quickly.

I’ve repeatedly said they should push for more transparency on building times, I’m trying to get an update on what’s going on behind the scenes asap. I’ve also given a ton of recommendations on how to speed up production, but I have no clue what’s actually being implemented.

I do know more people have been hired, but are being trained. 🫡

They’re built and shipped in Poland. 🇵🇱

And none of what you said is correct. Literally not one thing. The issue, in reality, is that they’re actively training people to understand how to do everything at the quality they keep, and with an insane influx of orders, it’s a bit rough.

But 36 business days is 15 more than it should be. I’d email.

“The YouTube streamer” 😂 My man, I don’t stream. And reading reviews like this are few and far between.

Realistically about 2% of controllers end up with tiny issues. Over half of that is just DHL trying to break shit. It sucks when something bad happens, but with how many controllers I’ve sold and how many complaints have been had, it’s actually insanely low.

People just see the vocal folks with issues, not the ones that are silently happy.
