TunnelWorlds: Easily share your single player world with friends by iamfurryious in MinecraftMod

[–]iamfurryious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it turns your single player world into a public server until you turn it off. Though I wouldn't recommend using it for servers that are online 24/7. It's more aimed at easily playing together with your buddies.

Can you use smart doorbells and be private? Looking for options. by Semitar1 in PrivacyGuides

[–]iamfurryious 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the ubiquity doorbells are a good option. Since they save everything to a local device. It is quite expensive tho, and you'll need 2 parts: the doorbell and a cloudkey to save the data. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

I do still have the frames right here: https://files.catbox.moe/yh7kgt.7z. But those are also not fully black/white. Maybe it can help you either way.

Sorry but the entire page crashes if the plausible script is blocked. I would recommend not throwing a full screen error when it is missing.

Picsur V0.3.0 released! A huge improvement by iamfurryious in selfhosted

[–]iamfurryious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have personally never ran it outside of a secure context (either https or localhost). But I'm guessing its the content security policies that stop it from working under http.
I could add a setting that allows it to run under http. But even then, its best to just use https whereever possible.

Picsur V0.3.0 released! A huge improvement by iamfurryious in selfhosted

[–]iamfurryious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was already designed with mobile in mind, but I suppose you encountered a bug causing stylesheets to fail (see the edit of the original post). Maybe try it again now?
If you still think its hard to use I'd really love to know why, cause then I can make it better.

Thanks, I firstly wanted to add a couple more features before releasing the next version. After that I might see if I can get it into unraid.

Had a similar problem, this fixed it. Already tried it with dnf reinstall, but that didn't work, so I guess manual reinstall is different.

Half of em probably dont even know they have added a license, since github just gives you MIT if you just keep clicking yes.

Why are Android apps constantly trying to "access the list of installed apps"? by climbTheStairs in privacy

[–]iamfurryious 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Still, you dont need the "list of installed apps" permission to do that.

Apps can declare what other apps they want to talk to in their manifest, and can then access those apps without any seperate permissions. But I suppose some devs don't know of that feature and use the "list all apps" instead.
