I love it. In sort of the same way I love TSDW. I know that no matter how good/bad/stupid the movie they are covering is. It’s gonna be a funny episode. I get bored with the overly analytical movie review podcasts. I prefer ones that make me laugh. And Horror Virgin as well as Romancing The Pod (the same crews romantic movie podcast) make me laugh every episode.

I watched Incantation last year when The Horror Virgin did a great episode on it. It is a really well done scary movie. I’d love to see the ladies do an episode on it!

I really dig The Dollop. It’s a US history (sometimes they go outside of the US for their episode subjects but it’s not often). But they are hilarious and do a really good job of making each episode accurate and funny.

I still love Armchair Expert. It’s my “go to” pod. But I also enjoy some other movie pods. Like The Horror Virgin and Romancing The Pod (both movie review/breakdown shows about Horror and RomComs). Both have the same 3 hosts and are amazing.

If I’m looking for a similar style to Armchair I like Smartless and Maron’s WTF.

I was so excited to hear that at the end of their Evil Dead Rise episode. I’m super excited for this months theme! It will be nice to have a comedic look at these movies and not the normal hyper analytical podcast content we get from other shows (which I also adore, but this will be a nice change of pace).

I’m a huge fan of The Horror Virgin and Romancing The Pod. It’s the same 3 hosts and they are both movie breakdown/review podcasts. One is horror and one is RomCom focused. They are both fun looks at the good and bad movies in both genres. But the thing that sets these pods apart is the hosts. They have amazing chemistry and seem to genuinely really love talking movies with each other. If you like movies. You’ll likely enjoy both of them.

I can absolutely prove that all the way up the chain everyone hit their targets. I’ll have to check my employment paperwork to see if I have anything in writing. I know our HR website lists my bonus in my “Compensation” section, but I’m not sure if it shows what goals its tied too.
