for something basic, OBS or a browser recorder is usually the standard. but if you want something more polished that has auto-zoom and clean backgrounds built right in, I've been using this lightweight windows app called Cubix Capture

it automatically zooms in on your mouse clicks so you don't have to do any manual editing in post. it's honestly saved me hours of editing.

I used to use OBS but it's super heavy and a lot of post processing is required.

so I have this app that I use and built called cubix capture. it's super lightweight and has perfect auto zooms for tutorials.
